Robert Roy hi Robert I watch all your videos and thank you I didn't buy a Blackstone because I think Griddle Master Flat Tops are Awesome I have a 36" long on my 6 Burner Bar B-Q I cook everything outside now and it's so much fun Thank you again to you and GriddleMaster Joe for all your Video's
I can tell you for a fact, our tops get hotter even on low. Our tops are more consistently heated across the entire top because of them sitting down in the grill and only allowing the heat to escape on the sides. You can capture the heat and use it as a convection oven as well. Lastly it is the "fountain of youth for your BBQ grill. Nothing drips down on the heating elements causing it to rust and corrode. With Griddle Master Griddle Top, it's a win win for your grill.
LOL, I suck at it but it's still had a lot of fun doing it. I should practice more but don't have the time. I can say the food was great though. I just forgot to add the sesame seeds to the rice.
lol. I don't think there are any in Miami either. I found her in Hawaii and she is from Kansas - I don't think that matters though. I met her sister and boy is she differ... "ouch" Mrs. Griddle Master hit me. hehehe. Mrs. Griddle Master is great and she served in the Marines with me. We had a great time. Talk about a spouse that has your back, as long a she has my front too. :) Yes I am really like this, all the time. Love talking trash. We love to laugh and have fun!
Every Grill is different. As you can tell in my video, I have my 4 foot wide griddle locked down. Nut & Bolt in each corner. My smaller griddle top does not lift. I always recommend to people, after you realize that you will cook everything on the griddle top. Consider locking it down. It will give you the freedom to go crazy with your griddle top. Apply water even when it is really really hot. Steel will react to the 2 drastic temps when applied one way or the other. So locking down wide griddles is a good thing to do.
GriddleMaster thank You Joe I am still having problems with the seasoning pealing up to bare metal Your griddle looks so smooth and black Mine is kind of bumpy I'm thinking of taking 800 grit sandpaper and smoothing it out! And applying really good Olive Oil Do you think that is a good idea? Thank You So Much Sincerely Mike D.
Mick, yes. you can use any grit you want. may consider double digits to cut thru the seasoning. You wont hurt the steel. It will actually help it stick better but having some grit to the steel.
I still have leftovers!!!! I am cooking sliders tonight. Can't wait. Cooking on the Griddle top is so fast and easy. All the mess stays outside and cleanup is a snap. I get brownie points with Mrs. Griddle Master by keeping the mess outside. But really now mess at all. shhhh. Don't tell her that... HEHEHE.
Amazing. Thanks for the volcano show. I may have to try that myself. 😂

Can you use clamps to "lock down" the grill to prevent warping?
