To this day, im still shocked about how real alyx's voice actor conveyed the horror and desperation of alyx. Its genuinely disturbing honestly, and every time i hear it it unnerves me so much. The actors for this game are absolutely crazy.
I love the attention to detail to how at 1:42, the HEV suit is clean and new. But at 2:50, since Gordon went through the whole way of getting to Eli's lab, It's dirty and kinda roughed up.
Half Life 2 feels weird now that we know what Alyx is capable of. She just stands around doing nothing, maybe shooting, whereas in her own game shes throwing shit everywhere and blowing combines faces off with grenades and beating headcrabs to death with chairs
