I love this piece of music in that scene also it has the signature Carpenter and Alan Howarth synth sound which really work well for the mood they are conveying in the scenes. The track which briefly features this part of the music is on the song titles ‘hey boom’ at the 2:30 mark you hear it, it’s similar but not exactly the same as in this scene but close. It’s short part of that track unfortunately

Check out Synthwave if you haven't....it's hit or miss but a lot of it is genuinely great....personally I'd recommend Dance with the Dead but it's much more "lively" rather than ambient which you'd probably like....but the soundscapes are the most Carpenter I've found....plus guitars aplenty, everyone like??

This is something Friday The 13th tried to do with Friday The 13th Part 5 A New Beginning which is not bring Jason back and focus on a new antagonist and different story rather than bringing Jason Voorhes back.
They hated it (and some still do to this day) because it didn't involve Michael Myers. People were expecting to see him again, only to realize this movie has nothing to do with the whole Myers storyline. Nobody was able to separate this film from the previous two films and look at it as its own thing.

Halloween 3 is such an underrated movie, what I like about this movie is they tried to come up with a different story, it was original, it’s not a repeat, it was scary, dark, witchcraft, strange, fun, it isn’t all over the place and there is some suspense in this, whenever I watched it many times, I learned to appreciate it and understood it more, yes if it hadn’t been called halloween 3 then it may have been successful and could of gotten better reception but Halloween is suppose more than just about Michael Myers, I take this movie over the reboots, I thought Cochran was very scary, he was more scary than Michael Myers

So basically his car, well he flooded it and then took burning rubber to a whole new level. Such a great score by Carpenter and Wallace. So eerie and disturbing, without an overabundance of gore and slasher feel to it. This movie is much more of a horror/psychological thriller which makes it deeper, creepier and more atmospheric than a guy in a mask slowly chasing after people with a huge butcher knife!
If he had got away undiscovered the plot may have unfolded a little differently, but even if the nurse hadn't walked in, even if the assassin finished wiping his hands, picked up the mask that fell off the bed, and left undetected, the body would still be discovered and the plot continue lol

my guess would be if Agnes (the nurse) hadn't walked in and found him then he would've finished cleaning his gloves off and left discreetly, and Harry's body would have been discovered whenever, but if it had happened that way the story would've played out a little differently

A bit hard to see but the android assassin didn't really gouge Grimbridge's eyes out, it did *worse.* He basically grabbed the bridge of the nose and *rippled the skull apart* from the outside. He looked almost intact, but the interior of his head was destroyed. Shades of what Cochran intended with his masks.

I'm not a coroner but when you watch the next few scenes in the movie where the coroner character talks about the guy's skull being pulled apart, I think it is being implied that not just the nose cartilage, but the actual part of the skull that makes up the nasal cavity was broken off the rest of the skull... whether death is instant I have no idea, but my guess would be if it wasn't "instant" then it would follow shortly after because of all the internal bleeding so close to the brain

That "business man" and Silver Shamrock henchmen turn out to be Michael Myers. Although the real Michael Myers is in the coma until "Halloween 4", the unmasked "Michael Myers" men are androids, built by Conal Cochran and the technicians.
This would be good if we knew the history of why Silver Shamrock existed. Cochran must have been involved in some pretty horrible things. I like to write so I might try to write a story of how this all began and how Michael Myers fits in. Michael Myers was adopted by the Myers family. Laura Strode is his sister (Laurie is the nickname) We don't know what happened to Michael as a baby. Someone kidnapped Michael and put him in a cult where he was tortured and saw actual murders happen. The cult had to do with Cochran. Perhaps the violence affected him as a child when was adopted by the Myers family. The Strodes never saw Michael again after his abduction. But the people who were involved in his abduction were arrested, the Myers adopted him. They didn't totally get the evil removed from him. Michael was changed after the abduction. He became more evil. Cochran left the US to avoid prosecution but later returned using an alias. He then got involved in marketing and sales and hence Silver Shamrock was concepted. He used evil i. Making Halloween masks that would destroy people who wear it with a button that connects to the TV commercial that mesmerized mainly children. This button had evil powers in it. There was a magnetic piece that causes melting of the face and vermin that crawls out. The sounds in the commercial hit certain areas if the magnet that electronically activates the destruction device which kills the intended victim.
I admit I didn't care for this movie when it first came out in 1982, mainly because it deviated from the Michael Myers storyline. However, as time went by, I came to appreciate it's originality and tense moments. It wasn't flawless mind you, but it deserves more recognition than it got. One thing, though. They should have dropped the 'III', and just called it 'Halloween: Season of the Witch', since it had nothing to do with the first two movies. The title was deceptive in my opinion.
Well they tried to make Halloween a different series which was an interesting concept because like anything can happen on Halloween like in the beginning we get a crazy silent killer, a man who celebrates halloween to far and hardcore and we would have gotten something supernatural had Halloween 3 turned out well but everyone wanted Michael Myers so yeah but no big deal.
I would guess they had some kind of software lol, and probably some kind of radar-like scanner, which picks up the chip in the badge on the mask, how else did the killer know exactly where to go to find his target lol

This would be good if we knew the history of why Silver Shamrock existed. Cochran must have been involved in some pretty horrible things. I like to write so I might try to write a story of how this all began and how Michael Myers fits in. Michael Myers was adopted by the Myers family. Laura Strode is his sister (Laurie is the nickname) We don't know what happened to Michael as a baby. Someone kidnapped Michael and put him in a cult where he was tortured and saw actual murders happen. The cult had to do with Cochran. Perhaps the violence affected him as a child when was adopted by the Myers family. The Strodes never saw Michael again after his abduction. But the people who were involved in his abduction were arrested, the Myers adopted him. They didn't totally get the evil removed from him. Michael was changed after the abduction. He became more evil. Cochran left the US to avoid prosecution but later returned using an alias. He then got involved in marketing and sales and hence Silver Shamrock was concepted. He used evil i. Making Halloween masks that would destroy people who wear it with a button that connects to the TV commercial that mesmerized mainly children. This button had evil powers in it. There was a magnetic piece that causes melting of the face and vermin that crawls out. The sounds in the commercial hit certain areas if the magnet that electronically activates the destruction device which kills the intended victim.

Some of the sickest shit I've ever seen in my life
I admit I didn't care for this movie when it first came out in 1982, mainly because it deviated from the Michael Myers storyline. However, as time went by, I came to appreciate it's originality and tense moments. It wasn't flawless mind you, but it deserves more recognition than it got. One thing, though. They should have dropped the 'III', and just called it 'Halloween: Season of the Witch', since it had nothing to do with the first two movies. The title was deceptive in my opinion.

Well they tried to make Halloween a different series which was an interesting concept because like anything can happen on Halloween like in the beginning we get a crazy silent killer, a man who celebrates halloween to far and hardcore and we would have gotten something supernatural had Halloween 3 turned out well but everyone wanted Michael Myers so yeah but no big deal.
I used to think this was Michael Myers' origin before he put on the mask because of all the scars and burn marks.

I would guess they had some kind of software lol, and probably some kind of radar-like scanner, which picks up the chip in the badge on the mask, how else did the killer know exactly where to go to find his target lol
