Thanks for this honest review. It's so great to see that a new film is being made in 2024. I'm sure as time goes on the team at Harman will refine it some more
Found out my cameras battery was doing some weird stuff so it was messing with my metering a little bit and I also think this wasn’t the right environment for this film. So yeah we will test it out again soon
I just tried out a roll of phoenix too. Any sort of constrast just doesnt vibe well with it. Got a couple pretty cool shots using a flash though - pops the closer subjects out to really moody and weird colored backgrounds
Phoenix Harman is a very challenging film. Next to a slight colour shift the dynamic range is limited. My recommendation set the film for ISO 100 and meter for your main subject. Anything past 3 stops forget about it.
i've *loved* this film so far tbh. It feels like ilford film but in color for me. I think you picked the wrong type of setting for this film. I like it in urban settings around sundown

The film is actually better than this. The lab probably didn’t know how to scan it right.
Big like for your great job
Thank you so much!!

Thanks for the tip! Yeah just don’t think this is the film stock for me it had some character to it but idk. Maybe it will get better down the line
Would love to see the images you shot. Do you have social media account where I can see them?

He is the best boy
I think the metering let you down there bruh. Images still look really cool tho.
Yeah I looked into it and there was a metering issue with the camera while I was out shooting
I think we'd get along very well.
Only if you shoot film
