I can’t believe how mean people have gotten lately. I think this is fabulous and I have gone to Amazon USA and ordered two of your books and your brushes as they seem to be just the type I was looking for. Please don’t let mean people get to you. There are those of us out here who recognize your talent and truly appreciate the work you have put out to make it easier for beginners like me to learn this art genre. Best of luck with your little one. 💜

I’m a mom so I 100% get it. I’m sure you could tell. My son took over my UA-cam so he changed my picture and name. 😂 Your art is beautiful so it should reflect in the price. People don’t realize what is going on in the background when publishing a book. Things happen. Unfortunately, when things happen, America pulls out their conspiracy theorist hat and thinks the worst. So, on behalf of America, I am so sincerely sorry this is happening to you. That sounds so disheartening. I really hope you don’t ever let stuff like this deter you from doing what you love and sharing it with all of us! Also, congrats on your baby! ❤️❤️❤️

A verbal description of what you are painting would have been so much more helpful than the narrative about the publishing of the book. I will be interested in looking at the book.

I’m so sorry that ppl are so mean. I have 1 book so far ( ocean) and will buy more. Watercolor paper is very expensive and more ppl turned to art and crafts during covid shut down. I’m a beginner and this is so helpful. I do plan to buy this book as well! Thank you, Dana!

Hello! maybe I'm super late for the party, but how about releasing the unpublished projects digitally on your website so people can print their own sketches and complete the "missing pages", or maybe instead of people paining in the book itself, maybe use normal paper and include graphite paper so people can trace the sketches on their own paper. I feel really bad since from the video I can tell you put a lot of effort into it and that people on the internet is so mean :(, anyways! good luck and you did a great job! don't listen to the haters!

I'm sorry that people gave you heck about the page count ♡ It's beautiful. I love books, they're my favorite expression of art. Very impressive 💛

I know this is not. New video... but I’m so sorry you had to go thru this. People can be so mean. Something similar happened with Kerby Rosanes Fantomorphia. His publisher told him the same thing. That he basically had to cut his next book in half. Needlessly to say people weren’t happy. But it wasn’t your fault and people need to get over themselves. I think you did a wonderful job and I hope you keep going with the book series for I will support you regardless. Hope you and baby are well. Xoxo

Hi Dana! Sincere apologies on behalf of every negative person who decided to be nasty to you, regardless of whether it was your fault or somebody else's. Hope you have recovered from the negativity you received... Congratulations on your little one! 💕🙏

I am so sorry the feedback has been so negative. I understand some people might be disappointed, but there is no reason to be cruel or rude. Be kind, people! I have not bought one of your books, but do have your lovely brushes. Congratulations on motherhood. Enjoy...it is a very special experience. Thank you.

Congratulations on your baby! The book is lovely, I’m so sorry that people were hateful. I’m sure you know this but maybe hearing a total stranger say it will help. The nice people, the people who liked the book, the people who understood what was happening and why, the people who did not blame you, those people, people like me, tend to be less vocal, less visible online. We’re not the ones who make a lot of noise. So you heard all the ugly and obviously did not hear enough of the gratitude. Thank you for creating such nice and helpful books, I have leaned a lot and have enjoyed the process.

I am so sorry for your struggle with your book launch, Unfortunately people can be mean... I personally love all of them so much that I have purchased two copies of each! One for watercolor and also for colored pencil work! Keep doing what you do and many do love it! Take care and enjoy that little one! Thanks for what you do it helps us all to grow in our creative journey!

I can’t wait to purchase your books! As a newbie to watercolor I can’t seem to even get a grip on the concept of watercolors with my cold press paper block. I’m excited to understand colors & blending so I can eventually paint my own designs on my watercolor paper.

Dana, I have loved all of your watercolor books. Totally unique and delightful to work in. I haven't ordered the new one yet - but, I have it on my gift list and am hoping a family member decides it's the perfect gift for me. Of course, if they don't pick up on my hints, I will order it myself! Anyway, I am sorry you have people who complain like this. Your idea for producing the watercolor series is wonderful and a true testament to your talent. Just ignore them and concentrate on those of us who love what you've done!

Just ordered my book. Totally understand that you could only provide 25 projects. Just great-full that you were still able to produce this lovely book. I hope you are able to provide more in the future. Thank you so much for the tutorial as well!

Congrats on your gorgeous book. I am sure you’ll have more happy buyers, especially after your demo paintings - this demo has convinced me to buy it, thanks.
