If you want to get stronger uphills, do more uphill rides. Yan ang natitunan ko sa friend ko na veteran tour rider. Its been more than 20 years, and i can say i feel stronger uphill at 57 yrs old than when i was 30.😊

Nice content tito Gene! 🙂 2yrs ago nung nag pla-plan pa lang ako bumili ng road bike nakita ko yung bike fit video mo kay coach Leian, in fact very informative sya kasi vinideo mo yung buong session and isa ka sa factor kung bakit ako nakapag decide na makapag bike fit sa kanya. And nung nakabili ako ng road bike dun ako kay coach nagpa bike fit. And tingin ko hindi ako nagkamali sa pagpili kay coach Leian, dahil mas naging efficient ang pag pedal ko and I'm using different muscle groups like yung core, glutes, and my hamstrings which really helped me sa mga very steep climbs and long rides. Halos no pain after a long day ride and low avg heart rate. Madaming bashers yan si coach na nagsasabing scammer sya pero his methods worked for me very well. I also tried another bike fitter yung sa velogic fit kay coach Mervin Santiago, ibang style din ang pag bike fit nya halos same ng sa Retul. Sinubukan ko lang din para may ibang perspective and gusto ko din ma try yung may laser laser hehehe. Ok din naman yung sa Velogic. Pero at the end of the day bumalik pa din ako sa mga methodologies ng CRZ hehehe. Eto opinion ko lang din, if you are planning to go serious sa pag ba bike like gusto mo maging competitive cyclists or endurance rider dapat magpa bike fit ka. Main reason nyan is para maging comfortable ka with your bike and maging more efficient ka sa pag ba-bike mo. I'm pretty sure din na you will enjoy cycling more pag maganda ang cycling experience mo kaya invest in a bike fit.

First hinde lahat ng rider like amateurs na kaya or comfortable sa ganung position nila. Second yung comfort, kapag hinde comfortable ang rider sa ganun position babalik ulit sya kung saan nya nakasanayan comfortable sya.. ang mga Elite Teams / coaches in europe mas binibigyan nilang importance ang comfort ng rider rather than aerodynamics, Useless ang CRZ posture kung hinde kaya i maintain ng rider ang ganun riding position for a long time lalo na kung may ibang sumasakit sa katawan nila or nahihirapan huminga kapag nasa aero bars or low position sa drops. Eventually rider will tire quickly causing them to slow down.

Ako tito Gene, ginive up ko yung cleats. Bumalik ako sa flat pedals. Nawala na yung discomfort na nararamdaman ko sa cycling. Lakas makasira ng bike fit ng cleats since di makagalaw at adjust yung katawan dahil naka lock in yun paa. Same din tayo ng habol sa cycling which is long distance travel, Kaya Mas need ko yung comfort kaysa kung ano man benifits na nabibigay ng cleats. Galing din ako sa Bike fit though ibang fitter naman. Continuous process naman daw talaga sya pero wala kasi ako time bumalik sa fitter if may naramdaman akong di okay. Kaya mas pinili ko na lang mag flats ulit. Tingin ko tama din si sir Mito na mas adjustable yung RB cleats kaysa mtb.
