If anyone of you has doubts about these recipes, rest assured they're absolutely bomb. I've made the rajma twice now and it is so yummy that I prefer it river the onion based gravy one. The only thing I change is the cashew paste. I use cream or curd instead which I put after tomatoes. But the flavour of this reminds me of the food we get in puja and bhadaras when the halwai prepares the meals and its just ❤❤ something about the taste is so nostalgic. ❤
Umm.. so today I saw this recipe as navratri is going on so was searching for something different to eat and I saw this video. After watching it I tried 1st recipe of rajma (kidney beans) and all enjoyed it . It also became fav dish for my sibling 😂👍 really I recommend you to try it . In North India specially in uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan there are few families of brahmans still don't eat onions and even then their food is very tasty . Onion or garlic is not compulsory but people have made it compulsory.

Worth a try for me. Since I caught Covid back in January, anything with onion or garlic in tastes like rotting flesh mixed with burning chemicals. Pre-Covid, I used to eat at least 3 curries a week. Once I realized I couldn't I actually gave hundreds of pounds worth of ingredients to a local food bank, and now 10 months in I still can't eat one.
Hopefully, with these recipies, I can enjoy indian food again.

I love these recipe ideas. I sent them to my mom so that she can cook dog friendly meals. The family dog keeps putting her snoot on the table. She wants something to eat. I have to keep telling her "No garlic, no onions cos I wuv you." When my dad gives her food that's actually healthy for her, she's embarrassed to eat it because she thinks it means she's lower status. She's not lower status, she just has different organs, and certain things that are good for us would make her sick like chocolate. So TYSM Food Lab, for making this video so that the 8 of us (including the dog) can share a yummy dinner together.
