Goku basically is negate card effects, can't be destroyed by battle and every time one of your opponent's monsters declares an attack nullify it and deal 300 battle damage to your opponent

@conchadeconchos I'm OK with UI's mechanic here, but I really hope dokkan doesn't go the Legends route of nullifying nullifications and stuff, it makes Legends less enjoyable than it used to be.
Like, let's take endurance. Legends introduces endurance, meaning a unit doesn't die and heals a portion when they get to 1 HP
After a while, they introduce characters that nullify endurance
THEN they introduce a character that has an endurance-like mechanic that isn't endurance (Goku/Bardock tag)
THEN THEN they make other characters with normal endurance, but they nullify opponents endurance nullification, for...reasons? Idk why they didn't just give them the mechanic Goku/Bardock have
It's confusing as hell, and just makes it feel like BS unfair mechanics instead of fun mechanics to play around, like most of Dokkan's mechanics are (though Dokkan also has some trash mechanics don't get me wrong, I hate bosses locking units in certain slots)

Anni units are hype because they go all out with animations and they're the most powerful units in the game so when jp gets stronger units before global even gets the anni units it just makes the anni units less hype and severely lessens their individual value to summon for.

Literally, my only critic of this unit is the missed opportunity to make him the first physical and ki blast counter unit. Would've been so sick if they included the part where UI Goku throws Jirens ki blast back at him after he fully transforms.
Well he counters EVERY TIME he dodged, he might not have the animation but he does counter both I believe

I can't wait for a boss to "nullify dodge canceling nullification" to prevent this Goku from being used too much. Or actually, they will just make a lot of fights that cancel dodging for the whole fight, and there's nothing you can do about it until you transform eventually.
At 55%, 200% lead, LR TEQ Goku (UI sign) link with LR AGL Goku (UI) will have a start of turn DEF of 277,452 with 50% DMG reduction. After 2 Super Attacks, assuming he gets a dodge before attacking his DEF is 582,649 with 50% DMG reduction. After getting, before attacking his start of turn DEF will be 277,452 with 15% DMG reduction and Guard. After Getting hit with 2 supers his DEF is 582,649 with 15% DMG reduction and guard. I'd say Goku will be able to tank most normals in the game. Especially in the early phases. Note, all of this will be irrelevant if he dodges with his 70% dodge chance, lol.
In his MUI form his start of turn DEF is 293,669 with 60 DMG reduction. after 2 supers his DEF is 760,602 with 60% DMG reduction. After getting hit his start of turn DEF will be 293,669 with 20% DMG reduction and guard. After 2 supers his DEF is 760,602 with 20% DMG reduction and Guard. Mind you he builds up 20% dodge chance by attacking so even if his DEF stat is kind of low with his counters and additional he will have a pretty easy way of building his 77% dodge, pretty busted lol.

Anni JP 2023- to now have been some of the best unit releases/Ezas/Awkening/Super ezas ever. Even the lower tier units have have been fun to use (AGL Frieza, Saiyan Saga). Tournament Participants is a VERY fun category despite the not so great 18/17. Been regularly playing since 2015. Reminds me of the 70%-120% mono era.

If you wanna make the team even stronger you could replace Gogeta for orange piccolo since piccolo doesn’t get affected that much by dodge cancelation and he has the giant form

Every unit stays in their transformation for the whole game except for the invincible type/giant transformation type, so you don't need to worry about it even if the domain expires the form still remains.

@@LonerWarrior that's because goku black's "transformation" isn't really a transformation but rather a temporary power up while in domain, UI sign on the other hand is the same as his INT counterpart except with domain so even if his domain expires he will still remain in his MUI form.

I think I can honestly say this is the worst year of Global in the game's history. I believe if they never announced the sync the mismanagement of Global this year would still be frustrating but no where near to the level that it is now, we would all just chalk it up to Global shenanigans like we'd do before. Knowing that the games are supposed to be syncing this year but seeing the mismanagement of the Global version by the devs with every celebration makes it 10x worse than any other year since by the time the games are supposed to be synced Global won't have everything that JP does while also not knowing when the missing characters and events will come, unless they just drop them all in one massive banner/celebration together (which still wouldn't be ideal).

My argument is that for 6 months the Global version of the game has not been anywhere near as good as the JP version of the game and this is evident by just how many Global players have complained about the state of the game all year. I don't believe that there has ever been this big of a disparity between the two versions before. This is the best year of dokkan by far for JP but Global has just been terrible all year.
@@travisburger2819 I think global players complaining is a poor metric of the quality of global Dokkan this year. Global Dokkan players are incredibly spoiled. We know the banners in advance, we get discount summons, we get extra bundles, etc. etc. We have a more favorable annual schedule than JP because we get Anni And WWDC back-to-back. We get global-first units who are, in most cases, top tier on release. Global is always eating good, and global players take it for granted.
Now all of the sudden JP has an amazing start to the year and global players are jealous and impatient. Yes, the Rose shit was a fumble, but in the grand scheme it's trivial - we got the unit first, it wasn't that good, and then they buffed it. People complaining that JP got Cell Max is absurd - we NEVER get a part 2 LR like that for a global first unit, why would we get it now? People seem to forget that we got LR Buutenks and LR SV EARLY, which opens up a timeslot during 9th Anni... jeez, I wonder who's gonna take THAT spot, right?
I've played global Dokkan since August of 2015. If you think THIS is the worst year of global Dokkan, you clearly haven't been around for the REAL tough times.
@@jcjvcjc98 It took a while to respond because I wanted to be sure to get to all your points. Thank you for giving your reasons and here's my rebutal.
1. I've been around since just after 1st Anni with Gogeta and Janemba and I remember summoning for AGL Vegito when he first dropped so I've been around for a while and that's why I say this has been the worst if not one of the worst years of Global dokkan.
2. When I talk about Global players complaining I don't mean the QOL of the game but more so the interests players have in the game itself. Going into this year players were already saying how we were going to be enetering a stretch of dead months with all the non hype DFs and LRs we were about to get like Trunks, Gohan and Piccolo, TOP 17 & 18, etc. No one was excited for them because the units and their celebrations just weren't good.
3. Extra bundles mean nothing to most players because most players are F2P. Discounts also aren't all that great when we have characters with trash banners and you're not guaranteed anything good, it's just there to bait you into using your stones.
4. In terms of scheduling JP has it better than Global. JP has Anni at the beginning of the year and those units usually last through out the entire year in terms of viability, so that means they can skip most other banners until Tanabata or WWDC giving them more time to save up stones. Global on the other hand has Anni then WWDC the very next month leaving almost no time to save up stones. JP goes from Tanabata which only has 2 summonable banners to a DF in the beginning of August to WWDC at the end of August which has 4 summonable banners, which totals to 7 summonable units in the span of 2-3 months. Global goes from Anni- 4 summonable units, August DF, then to WWDC- 4 summonable units, which totals out to 9 summonable units in 2-3 months which is objectively worse for stone management especially if you're F2P. Also you say Buutenks and Vegito open up a slot for after Anni but they really don't, and if they're time frame were to be replaced by another banner like Cell Max that would just make things even worse for Global because it would then be 10 summonable banners in a 2-3 month span.
5. Global foresight also doesn't help when the devs just decide to change celebrations and banners at a whim by cutting, adding, and/or replacing content and units from them. It can also be countered but not summoning on every banner. You don't need foresight we see character details before they release and as long as you save your stones and summon wisely foresight is not that important. Global firsts also don't last long to be on Global exclusively especially in more recent years where JP seems to get them in a couple of weeks to a month or two at the latest. We also getting shafted on Global first celebrations because they wind up betterbon JP.
6. Rose Goku Black was not trivial and in fact is the epitome of what I'm talking about on just why Global has been so bad this year. Everything about Rose Goku Black's celebration was unfinished and just begs the question of why would you release him on Global first. His banner was unfinished because it was missing a banner unit, which goes to my previous point of them cutting units off banners. He was missing a super eza in PHY Goku Black. Rose's passive was unfinished because he was missing a key ability to it that they didn't metion until he came to JP and it still took them longer to implement it on Global than JP because he released with it on JP. He was also missing a Part 2 LR and like you said they never released a new Part 2 LR for a Global first, so the question is why release him then? If he and his celebration are going to be missing this many things then why release the character on global instead of just releasing the next already finished and completed Gohan and Piccolo, it makes no sense.
I don't want to come of sounding like I'm jealous of JP I'm more so frustrated at Global because this is clear and blatant mismanagement and that's been the problem with Global all year. Global has always been poorly managed but these mistakes become magnified with the knowledge of the Global sync supposedly happening. All these mistakes make it harder for Global to sync with JP and some things like the world tournaments not being caught up have no excuse because we would have been caught up but they chose not to. The WT has been sitting in the data for Global since Golden Week and they just didn't release it and now we're behind on more WTs. I like dokkan and have been playing it for years now but the mistakes that they've been making can't go overlooked and must be scrutinized, especially if they're tryimg to sync the games up.

LR TEQ UI Goku is the perfect “Dodge-Or-Die” character. TEQ UI Goku follows the basic idea that you should be able to tank all normals, and then dodge the death-dealing Super Attack, as that is the only attack that should ever kill you. Even in ~Sign~, his defensive mechanics such as the DR and Guard prevent him from aging out quickly when he’s hit by future Boss Normals early on, and the 70% Dodge as a safety net against big Super Attacks. Both UI and Gogeta Blue get cooked by Super Attacks but UI ~Sign~ can at least tank Normals, unlike Gogeta Blue, through Goku’s good DR and attained Guard, which greatly reduces risk of Slot One lock-down when either are needed.
In the “Shining World of Void” Domain, and UI Transformation, LR TEQ UI gaps the game entirely. Simply put, Dodge-Cancelling will never be a problem for UI Goku, as he nullifies Enemy Dodge-Cancelling through his Domain, and due to the fact that UI Goku has guaranteed Dodge on his first appearance, insane SoT stats, and 2 guaranteed Super Attacks which multiply his Counter Damage twofold, and 77% chance to perform Critical Hits, UI Goku cannot be touched, both LITERALLY and in terms of offense and defense. Not only that but he upgrades his high DR to 60%, and retains his Guard, which will make him great against ANY FUTURE BOSS-TYPING, and follows the principle of “tanking all Normals but dodging the Super”, which is especially easy, given how UI Goku has a 77% chance to Dodge beyond UI’s first appearance in Domain. The only way I can see LR TEQ UI Goku being defeated is if Enemy Territories are reworked in some way to potentially overwrite Player Domains when the Domain Update arrives. After all, if our Domains could overwrite Boss Territory Skills, what makes you think the other way won’t work as well, when the Domain Update is added?
Anywho, to try and keep this brief, LR TEQ UI Goku will probably be one of, if not, THE BEST AGING UNIT from 2024 due to his Dodging, Dodge-Cancelling Nullification Domain, God-Tier Ki Mechanics, lenient Category restrictions, and ally offensive + defensive support. Even in the future where Boss Stats may potentially cripple all of 2024 in raw power alone, UI Goku’s effective support, usability, insane Dodge chance, and frankly overpowered Domain that will be pivotal for other Dodge Units to survive in the future, will still play a quintessential role in victory for any team he may be run on. His 50% DR to 15% DR + Guard isn’t what makes him “the best” per se, but it’s what keeps him in the game against Normals; in the game long enough to not bank on dodging Normals, lowering the required Dodging probability needed for UI survive that rotation and instead, focused solely on dodging what will actually kill you, the Super Attack. It’s in stark contrast to the “Kami Principle”.
LR TEQ UI ~Sign~ Goku is in the Top 5 best characters in the game, probably at #5, whereas Transformed LR TEQ UI Goku is by far THE BEST UNIT IN DOKKAN HISTORY (#1). He also gets the award for likely being one of, if not, the BEST AGING UNIT IN DOKKAN HISTORY as well. Mark my words, even in 2+ years of time from Tanabata 2024, UI Goku will still be a viable option to run for upcoming future Boss Fights and may even still be until his EZA!

Probably gonna get countered when you can cancel domains. Boss makes their own domain to cancel ui’s domain. Which helps the majority of units but allows for the there to be counterplay from bosses against these sorts of effects
Btw Ui raises his defense by 60% (30%x2) on 18 ki super- because that boost also applies to him not just allies or it'd include "excluding himself" or whatever

I think the fact beast controls the whole fight while mui either doesnt show up at all or only shows up at the end of the fight is what keeps beast at 1 and goku at 2 or 3 which is honestly fine cause the two best units will be on the same team
This unit will be perfect for gt boss rush when it comes out. Gt boss rush might be harder than movie boss. Love unit great design very fun. Plus probably getting harder/longer fights for this celebration or world wide celebration. Definitely top 5 if not not top 3
He's not as good as I thought because that dodge for all allies is for only 1 turn and his domain is only 3 turns, but I think it's fine because once that domain is done, your friend UI Goku will be able to activate his domain... if the battle is still continuing.

PEAK RAW CINEMA! I like how they just remade the old transforming UI Sign to UI Goku with modern top tier animations and busted/op god kit. This is one of my most dream anticipated remake characters, so I'm very content, hype, and glad that the radiant, spectacular, celestial, and divine king has made it's inevitable triumphant advent and return once again.

The reason they gave him dodge canceling is because if you couldn’t dodge then you would have a hard time using a lot of his abilities and that just future proofs him also makes me stand out form the rest of units that hit hard or offer generic support
Just a note against super class enemys if your characters will take damage to them, his domain will only make you take more damage from them.

Transform into mastered UI after 5 turns. That will be good during those hard events. But with a good team, the fight will be over beforehand.

Well remember that beast has a team protection ability, this guy has 59% def for allies and +10% dodge for one turn, it's not on the same level, but he's crazy that's for sure. I hope counters are counted as attacks for his dodge buildup.
