This fishtail bread is easier and wearable and should take you only a few minutes.
For this tutorial I've used:
- Luxy Hair extensions ( chocolate brown #4, 160 g set)

In 33 years old and always wanted to learn a new braid for the longest, beside the standard beginner basic braid. I watched this tonight, frustrated the first 5 minutes, than presto, it clicked! Now I can fishbraid!! Love the head on demonstration almost mimicking a mirror, pretty easy compared to most braid tutorials, too. Thanks for your video!!

Guys just a little tip to the people getting frustrated because they can't do this braid, take your hair and put it in a ponytail or like an elastic band to the side like hers is the side and then just braid it like that in a ponytail it's A lot easier for me to do and like and comment if you tried it and if it worked..
And then either cut the rubber band(if your doing a side fishtail) or pull it off and you have an amazing fishtail!!!

I used to have layered hair and between French braid and fishtail the fishtail was easier and looked better.

My hair is just twisting...its not actually making a fishtail braid
split ur hair up in to sections and on the left side (or right) take a small piece and move it across to the right side and drop it. Move ur hand over to the right side and take a small piece and move it to the left side its a pattern.(REPEAT OVER AGAIN TILL U GET TO THE TIPS OF YOUR HAIR)

Lol you're defiantly not the only one! I always try to do things with my hair but I can only do three hairstyles, and they're all pretty easy. If you want to try them they are chopstick bun, flip through side ponytail (if I do it to the back then I always get lots of bumps!), and rope braid. Seriously, rope braids are WAY easier then regular ones, even though they look complicated!

I need help, what is the other side of the fishtail braid supposed to look like? Like the side resting against your shoulder. Because I always have this ugly strip of hair that is left out from the rest of the braid and I can't seem to get it to go away
Well it does for me because the bottom side tends to flip over and show. But I figured out yesterday that if I take sections from the back instead of the side, it fixes it my problem.

You really have to pay attention to how she pulls the hair from the outside of one section to the inside of the other, and then make sure the tops of the sections of hair end up rotating inward as you do the braid or else you'll end up grabbing pieces you placed in one section from the other too soon.

it helps to practice on someone else, but i agree...it's not so easy on yourself. pony tail first with a clear band you can snip out at the end. MUCH easier that way.

I have fine hair, too, but I still managed to do it. It was way less thick than hers in the end, but it still worked. You just have to grab smaller, thinner sections.
