Meet Honey Bun, a baby pangolin who was rescued from abuse by conservationist Maria Diekmann. Young pangolins need round-the-clock attention, so Honey Bun now lives with Maria in her home.

Given the millions of Pangolins that they have trafficked, I am not surprised that China believes the Covid 19 is due to The Pangolin .
They initially hunted the 4 types of Asian Pangolin to the point of near extinction , millions were killed and butchered in the notorious Wet Markets ,
They are now hunting the African Pangolin , soon all 8 species of pangolin are the most trafficked wild animal, Pangolins are nature’s gardener ,
they work in harmony to maintain a well balanced ecosystem. The Pangolin has NO Medicinal Properties, it’s scales are made of Keratin just like human nails and just like Rhino Horn yet these precious animals are being prescribed to humans in Chinese Hospitals as traditional Chinese medicines despite the fact that all the tests conducted at eminent research laboratories have all concluded the same results consistently yet both

Well, I have the exact same question. I kept wondering why poachers would do such a thing when they can earn money in other many ways. When I grow up I'm definitely gonna interrogate thise stupid humans.
Because of several reasons, being illegal they don’t have to pay taxes for more money. Another reason is people will pay large amounts of money for these animals for no reason other than superstition. Sure you could get honest work, but a Chinese man believing it will make him better in bed will pay you more for going out and ripping animals into pieces for their parts.

What can I do to help. I just saw the PBS special and cried. I dont go on social media ex here. We MUST educate Asia on facts about the contents of these things that have NO MEDICAL BENEFIT. Educate how endangered they are, how gentle and abused they are. How can I help?

The woman who was in the PBS movie carries a soft spot in my heart after hearing her story. I hope they are successful. I will find a way to help in some way, and appreciate the lead. Awareness is the first step

She was traumatized by being kicked around by bullying humans who thought it funny to use her as a soccer ball when in fact she was protecting her baby.
Thank you for this program. Had no idea of these creatures, or how endangered they are in the world.

At this very moment in time, im watching this documentary on TV in Australia. I love all of nature, but pangolins are one of my favourite animals due to how they walk. It makes me laugh so hard that i cry tears of laughter. God bless this woman for dedicating her life to looking after these awesome creatures. God bless you Maria. You are a true hero.
