I love how detailed overview you gave on these. Also, a big plus on going through the usage of Rose accord in perfumery! This type of info satisfies a geek like me!
Nice to get the prospective of someone with familiarity with the aroma chemicals and composition of perfumes. This really puts things into prospective. Thanks!
Hey Peter! I guessed correctly about your favourite! I really liked this video, very complete for those (including myself) who havent tried every Roja Aoud
Nice!!! Really appreciate this Peter. Especially those thoughts on Enigma Aoud. I think Roja once mentioned that they actually do invest in the process of removing the atranols from oakmoss absolute so I wouldn't be surprised if they had the cash to do the same thing with certain rose materials. But yeah, sweet gourmandy materials....not exactly the most pricey.💲 They do make me hungry though. 😄
Tanks for the video, Pete. I know how much effort it takes to review multiple fragrances at the same time. I've yet to really dig into Roja so this is a massive help. Your criticisms seem to be shared with a lot of people - and with those retail prices, I can see why!
Coming over here from Rich’s channel❤ I watched and listened to everything you’d had to say. And for a man that sells some of his perfumes for $1000 I’d be steering clear of all his perfumes especially since sweet fragrances aren’t my thing. Thanks for the video though really great editing as well.
Not 1 of roja doves are overly sweet dont let somone review influence your mind. I have smelt maybe 25 roja doves, and not 1 is focused on sweetness. The ones that are sweet are subtle sweet, and the knky 1 out of the oud range that is sweet is sweety aoud.
Great effort and comprehensive smell-through the line. Informative on what might have been used to create an effect of some notes that are restricted, I did enjoy that. thanks
I purchased Crystal Aoud for half price off of Roja Parfums, £295 for 100ml which personally (and very low knowledge on fragrance) found to be an acceptable price when other niche brands such and Creed for example are around the £300 mark for that same quantatiy. 🤷🏽♂️
Tbh one of the first fragrances I smelt getting into perfume was a sample of musk aoud all the way back in 2016. And I really loved it. So I Gotta thank Roja for that
Would you choose MFK oud satin mood Extrait over Roja Amber Aoud ?!! I have Amber Aoud I love it but it doesn’t last, it doesn’t project at all 🤦🏻♀️since everyone compare it to each other I am thinking to sell it and get OSM EX instead, side note:I don’t pay the full price for any I pay at least with 60% off so I want your opinion interm of the scent only 😊
My only issue with Mr.🕊- is that he has no shame asking that kind of money for his perfumes. My only issue with oud is that it became a trademark that justifies a huge price sticker just for the fact that they put oud on the label. It's just another raw material after all and putting a drop of oud in the blend doesn't make it an oud perfume. Only those perfumes that have a dominating oud note should be entitled to be called oud perfumes. But I'm afraid Roja doesn't care for my opinion lol ps: I've smelled that Aoud line, was surprised it's called Aoud....
I would have loved to hear your thoughts on those discontinued fragrances that I remember being hyped up in the past, bergamot and vétiver. I imagine those samples aren't around anymore, just more of curiosity of whether they were that good.
most overrpriced house out there with creed. havent smelt all but getting enigma pafum for a decent price would be my only purcahse. crazy when you compare his prices to adam and dimitry and other houses. the uae line is priced the same as sweetie aoud
I bought many of them bottles..and I just happen to wear diaghilev right now. So i guess im a fan, but I can see that they are overpriced. Btw i dont know if turin is a narcissist or just a troll but I wouldnt take his opinions seriously.
They belong to my mother, she's had them probably 20+ years.. and gave them to me. One is empty, some have some juice, couple are full. One Shalimar, 3 Mitsouko
Hmmm I started to watch your talking points live stream after the fact watched about half and then decided to come back to it. But there doesn't appear to be any video to go back to. Everything good?
I have zero interest in Roja because of the prices. I might smell them if I come across them.... otherwise, I don't know how he has a customer base. To each his own.
Ey up peter. Never bothered to smell any of these. I think enigma and sweetier would be my favourites. However, Roja will not be getting my money for a single scent
He will often list a barrage of notes deliberately to make people believe it's complex or that you detect a mirage of notes, but actually he's using the same amount that is average. With Roja it is all smoke & mirrors. Don't be fooled by a shiny plastic cap on a plain bottle.
The reviews come from wearing the perfumes on my skin.. for the sake of the video it was a blotter since I don’t have enough skin space to talk about them all. Why would I buy multiple thousands of pounds worth of perfume I don’t care for? That’s more strange.
@@FragranceView I did, it's still quite ludicrous when I could get an Areej for that price point. There are some interesting scents especially from the De La Nuit collection, but I think you could find better alternatives if you try lol.
My advice is to stay away from Roja fragrances. They are mainly clones of far better scents with an old school twist. Roja Dove is not a trained perfumer, he is someone who made his money in marketing & knows how to sell anything at high prices. In marketing he is an expert, in perfumery he is NOT.
My advice is to always follow your nose. If you like it, you like it, if you don't , you don't. Everything else is bs. I like some Roja's a lot, others not so much. There's no such thing as a "better scent" that's pure sales bs.

I love Musk AOUD . It’s my favorite Roja
Qatar is my absolute favorite fragrance. I also really like musk aoud. The rest of this line, im not a fan. Taif Aoud is also nice.
It would be nice if you would make a video in the future with a list of Oud fragrances that you think are worth the money.
I’ve only tried the discontinued Musk Aoud from the line. I liked it quite a bit, but not enough to pay Roja prices.
It’s true. Roja doesn’t make his perfumes . He hires ghost perfumers. Still I do love Roja perfumes.
Is there any prof for that ???
My favourite Roja Dove after sampling quite a few is still Britannia. Interested to hear your favourite! 🧐🤗🌠❤
I would love to smell Goodnight Kiss at some point because I love the story behind the creation of that fragrance💐🤗X💜

The others are a mix of miniature bottles, channel, dior, tauer, and some ensar oud
I told you one bottle of Om has more oud than bottles of all of those combined lol
After smelling them all, I would have to agree
What’s Om?
Centauri - Om, is a perfume I made myself, Centauri Perfumes is my own brand.. I am the perfumer, and Om includes a big percentage of real Thai Oud.

decided to delete that video, I thought maybe it's "gossipy" and wanted to avoid any potential drama.. I'll just stick to reviewing
Roja Dove perfumes have nothing to do with oud, the ones I've smelt, which are Enigma Aoud, Musk Aoud and Amber Aoud.
Do you think that purchasing sweetie aoud at 270 usd is worth it?
Over priced even then in my opinion, but if you can afford it and you like it.. do what you like to do

try to get O exclusive
