This reminds me of a section of scripture I read today from my Bible Study on the topic of prayer. The context (in Acts 4) is that Peter and John were preaching about Jesus in the temple and were put in jail and finally released bc there was nothing that they had done that could be found to make them guilty enough to stay there. But they were threatened not to continue speaking of Jesus. Then the apostles returned to ‘their own people’ and shared what had happened, and the people prayed to God. They said(in verses 29-31 NIV): “ “Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.” Yeah I just liked that verse cause it talks about having boldness especially when sharing about Christ, which I think we all could use, at least I know I could. A lack of fear or reservations. And that’s what this song is about too. So yeah, hope u profited from all that 🙂 And if u want more context on this specific story don’t be afraid to check out Acts 4.
