I don't know if this helps with your life journey or not; my go to sin is wrath. I'm not patient and become irritated then furious at work especially because well coworkers. One thing that Jesus taught me is to reach out, even the most mundane silly everyday things minor inconveniences sort of things that seem absolutely ridiculous to pray about (that NO ONE in their right mind to come forth and say aloud and if you did they'd be like couldn't you have called your momma for that?) BUT what I didn't realize before is allowing Jesus to serve me in turn allows me to serve Him. If it means I'm trusting Jesus instead of falling into what I already unconsciously know is a sin but choose to pray, then it's not silly.
He brought me out of the darkest place I’ve ever been in, surrounded by witchcraft, having suicidal tendencies and thoughts, self harming, I couldn’t be sober, I always chased the high, but Praise be to the Almighty, I’ve come a long long way but I’ve a long way to go. ✝️
Don’t give up on your boy. I’m 27 and put my mother through hell living a street life, becoming an alcoholic and drug addict. I always knew Jesus but I wanted to live in sin more. But until I had absolutely nothing and Jesus stripped me of my pride I quit and slowly came back to him. Now I’m clean two years and started school a few months ago going back for a computer career making my family proud. Boys are tough but their also tough if you know what I mean lol. God bLess you mom for not giving up. If he knows Jesus he will make you proud.

Rigorous honesty here. I recently got out of a 28 day rehab for alcohol/addiction. I heard this song for the first time the day I got out. The first line, "I was sick and tired, of being sick and tired" had me at hello. The next day was Sunday, and I was on my way to church with my mom. I showed her this song on my phone. After the song, we proceeded to turn the radio station to the local christian channel, and this same song was playing again. We laughed that God really wanted me to hear that song right right then. Later that day, I got in the car again to go to an AA meeting. And that song was the first thing playing when I turned my car on. All I can say is, thank you, God, and thank you, Josiah Queen!

This song speaks to me on so many levels. I am a prodigal son, I gave my life to Jesus in my teens, but when I was 21, I said Lord I got this life stuff down, and put him on a shelf. It wasn't till I was 41 when I realized how bad I messed up, now I'm 46 and I'm in a season of Job, and I'm still running home! Edit: I’m only 14 but I just got out of fighting depression, su!c!dal thoughts, self harm, and it’s all because of God. A little over a year ago God put my boyfriend in my life, 2 of my best friends in my life, and I gave my life to him July 15 2023! After he put those people in my life and after camp in 2023 I have never been more joyful! Even in my heartaches I’m starting to be happy in what I have and in the Lord. My boyfriend recently told me that he prays I’m safe before all of his football games, he started reading his Bible more, and he is trying to come to church. The Lord is my shepherd and I will not stray from the narrow path as much as I can. I love the Lord with all my heart. Amen ❤❤❤

It’s better to be able to give than constantly trying to keep and take what you think should be yours because you will loose all of that anyway after going to heaven. I’m only 14 but I just got out of fighting depression, su!c!dal thoughts, self harm, and it’s all because of God. A little over a year ago God put my boyfriend in my life, 2 of my best friends in my life, and I gave my life to him July 15 2023! After he put those people in my life and after camp in 2023 I have never been more joyful! Even in my heartaches I’m starting to be happy in what I have and in the Lord. My boyfriend recently told me that he prays I’m safe before all of his football games, he started reading his Bible more, and he is trying to come to church. The Lord is my shepherd and I will not stray from the narrow path as much as I can. I love the Lord with all my heart. Amen ❤❤❤

The lines “I don’t want what I can’t take with me in the grave” made me realise something really important. No matter what we achieve in this world. It doesn’t mean much to God. It’s better to be able to give than constantly trying to keep and take what you think should be yours because you will loose all of that anyway after going to heaven. With this new knowledge I will try to better myself and change how I would usually act to situations.

We are in the process of adopting a baby and we’re trying to figure out what his name will be.
