Paul's insight at 5:00 is the real eye opener. People tend to forget that not everyone is an expert or elite. Paul's insight into how kids learn and develop sets him apart from other trainers and teachers.

I think that comment "We don't want the right hand turning the stick it is used like a tube" is utterly wrong. Put a tube over your stick and grip it so that the handle revolves freely within it and you will find you have very little control or strength while dribbling the ball around obstacles. Both hands (or rather arms are used to turn the stick head - the fingers (hand, wrists) finesse the control of the turning but are not the primary turners
The starting point should be getting players to place the ball at a distance from the feet that facilitates a bent knee crouch and enables the player to scan well ahead of the ball, preferably while holding it in peripheral vision. Right hand position will follow from correct ball placement. Try starting in a full squat position to get ball placement (in this position the right hand can be placed in a only very limited part of the handle while moving the ball from side to side)then unbend the knees until forward movement with the ball can be made reasonably comfortably.
I was not impressed by the near upright stances adopted during the drills or the dribbling with head nearly over the ball and down and with 'eyes glued on the ball' as seen in the video. This results in a jerky style as the positioning of the ball is repeatedly corrected at the last moment to avoid hitting a cone, instead of a smooth, fluid style which results from knowing in advance how the ball and the feet need to be moved.
It is a pity cones are used in the training of close dribbling skills because it is often thought necessary to follow the ball around the cones with the feet, something that is never done when accelerating away from an eluded opponent during a game - ball and feet generally take very different paths in game situations. Thin flat mats or even marks on the ground, which do not need to be avoided with the feet would allow freer, more comfortable, and realist movement with the ball.A player needs to be able to 'think' about foot placement to avoid the next object with the ball and should not have the distraction of having to avoid kicking cones the ball has already been taken beyond.

I feel a lot of admiration for you! You're always with so much energy and enthusiasm! When I watch your videos, I remember when I was teenager (I was so brave) but the life passed, the responsibilities, have been changing me.
I already have all the things I dreamed, when I was a child. It's been not bed of roses, but the life was generous with me.For example in my career we were 500 in the first year, but just 5 got the title of visual art bachelor (the rich ones and I) because it's a very expensive career, and have a lot of theory. So, if someone wants the diploma, should read a lot, and have high visual training.
I'll always be glad with you, because you shook me of my comfort zone, encouraging me for do something very difficult for me, but I like because to be a goalie it's very exotic (I just can't resist exotic things).
You're always welcome to my country, the north of Argentina have beautiful landscapes, and a lot of pre-Columbian art. My team and I will be happy to receive you. I send you a big hold from Argentina. 😀😀😀

Hockey Heroes TV Hey, it will be amazing if you say yes! My friends are really good people, and we take care very well of you (we are responsible adults) in fact, it's very normal for culture exchange. They were in your country, and love the landscape.
I have been traveling for South America, until manage English well, because I want visit each important museums (Van Gogh Museum it's my favorite) and enjoy that. Don't worry you'll not waste anything, and you should try: empanadas, mate, asado (it's like barbecue) with Argentine meat. We are your fans, here in my country. You're the best in the universe. 😉😉😉😀😀😀
