In response to your advice to keep goals to yourself, it's unfortunately true that some people only want to know those details in an attempt to derail your plans. I saw a Pinterest pin that said "Keep your grass low so you can see the snakes." Sad, but true. We wish it would be otherwise, but anyone who's seen or experienced that situation knows to keep plans private or share only with those who work just as hard to achieve their own goals.
