@@The_Real_Merlin I don't know what your talking about man I've seen this movie before scared the shit out of me. It was like saw but actually good and not just torture porn.
Fun fact: There DOES exist a movie titled "tears of blood". It's a Korean movie premiered in 2005, and thankfully it's far from anomalous - it is bloody and gory because it's a murder thriller set in 19C. Its English title was "Blood Rain" but the SCP's Japanese title (Chi no namida) is a literal translation of Korean movie's original title (Hyul-eui Noo). Actually, this "Chi no namida", or "Hyul-eui Noo" is somewhat a meaningful phrase for art & literature history of Korea, because it is also the title of the first modern novel ever written in Korea (written in 1906) - strangely enough the content of the novel and the movie mentioned above is totally different - just a marketing scheme to lure people in with historical-looking title if you ask me. "Tears of blood" is originally a Korean idiom implying very sad and distressing situation, like, one that you cry real hard enough to cry out blood.
It's not just a Korean idiom, we have a parallel to it in Arabic. Not to mention that an English version of it exists even if not widely used. You could say that in most cultures crying tears of blood is an indication of extreme pain.
@@DotOneDanceD I find it odd the deepest strangest and the most interesting things said or built have connection with other cultures and to a t some more deeply connected across hundreds of thousands of miles
I'm not sure whether having this in my brain would cause severe mental dissonance with how I refuse to EVER watch a horror movie, or retroactively become the reason WHY I will never go to a horror movie.

Never heard of this entry but it sounds very disturbing yet interesting. I like it. Edit: Also like the samurai killer is a grisly homage to The Guinea Pig series second movie.
I mean in this SCPs defense the basic movie plot sounds like a J-horror kinda story and I swear I could have heard a friend talking about a movie like this…. Oh dear…
Funny thing is there is something similar to this anomaly but it was explained right away. In one of the PS2 demo discs somebody inserted a portion of a really stomach churning J-horror film titled The Iron Man as part of its video clips. Only a few people remember it and was consigned to urban legend until recently when it was confirmed... And there is more than one clip from that film that was included in those discs...
I love how you had to stop in the middle to let us know that we're supposed to find the masks weird. Somehow that makes it either funnier or more alarming now that we *all* remember going to the cinema as mask-wearers.
I always thought it was some effect of the movie. Like, some of the audience members have their mouths wounded, and are thus wearing masks. As for the IV drip and hospital gown wearer, I'm not sure...
Funny thing is there is an actual film called "Tears of Blood" though it is a 1972 West German-French film. Then there is Red Tears (2011) and No Blood, No Tears (2002).
So obviously this is fiction but I do have a theory why cast members and subplots keep changing. Perhaps in order to convince its victims that they've seen this movie, The SCP uses memories already stored in their brain. So if someone has seen Karate Kid, then Mr. Miyagi would be a lead villain in this Japanese horror movie for them. So the SCP might be creating these inconsistencies on purpose to appease to each individual's established memories
dude i keep watching your videos while trying to sleep, am i the only one? i also try to find the exact video with your voice on it, its weirdly calming. love your vids, the guys from scp explained.
Makes me wonder if the SCP is someone in a coma with psychic powers? The movie is a manifestation. Maybe they went through a similar trauma and are trapped.
What about Leslie Neilson playing a starship Captain in a Science Fiction horror film? That's the case for The Forbidden Planet. In fact, Leslie Neilson spent most of his career in dramatic films and doing no comedy films at all, even though comedy was what he really wanted. It wasn't until he was cast in the 1980 film Airplane! that he finally landed a comedic role. For audiences in 1980 it was just as jarring to see Leslie Neilson in a comedic role as it would be for us to see Robin Williams in a dramatic role.
To me the scary part about this is that my memory doesn't normally edit stuff like in the intro. It's more reliable than anyone else's as I know, and I trust it as such. The thought that that may no longer be the case is indeed very concerning. As for this SCP, it seems like it's a story that wants to be told. I don't know why it was never actually made into a movie, or if it really happened, but I think it mattered a great deal to someone, somewhere, maybe not even in this universe. A flapping edge of a loose story, fueled by and loaded with emotion, whipping through reality looking for minds to embed itself in, to become real.

This sounds horrifying! Why did I think watching a movie called "tears of blood" was a good idea? I even cancelled a hangout with my friends for this 2 months ago. When I was on a cruise......wait a minute
Wait...but if you have memories of seeing it, even if you didnt, due to it not existing, then how does a subject wind up at a theatre watching it? Is it a false memory, or does it simply compel you to watch it? Which is it? Also, i thought for sure the audience members would take off their masks to show the same disfigurment
So I assume the people with facemasks are repeating viewers who get obsessed with the movie to the point where they mutilate their face before watching?
They never actually say it, but the woman in the movie is probably the Kuchisake-Onna, portraying the sympathetic backstory before she became a monster.
Just a question about 096. If you want to slow it down or even down right stop it, would replacing its 6x6x6 steel cube with tantalum (the strongest metal on Earth) do the trick?
