Some additional details 1) The purple satchel with the phrase "Syncope" relates to the group known as "syncope symphony" a group heavily tied to the "Class of 76" anomalies such as SCP-332 and SCP-2316. How much are they involved with this anomaly is beyond me, but kaktus stated the reference was due to 3935 sharing similar themes with the aforementioned anomalies. 2) While she isn't completely sure what was written on the note, Mrs Fletcher believes it might've been the word "wet", but it was hard to make out. 3) A creepy little detail left unmentioned was how during the interview, Mrs Fletcher would occasionally say hello herself during her brief bouts of confusion. 4) It is mentioned in the special containment procedures that none of the townsfolk are able to reproduce.
I personally think that “the thing a quiet madness made” means that the reason this entity gains more power is by being ignored, by being quiet about this madness and not confronting it, they give it more and more power to do what it wants. Hell, it could even have been spawned by their toxic shunning done by ignoring people until they change into what is desired by the society. The thing a quiet madness made
"This* thing" That's a theory I've never thought about, but makes so much sense! Thanks! Honestly, I've been stumped by this 1 for a while. But that fits with the message in this mystery.

And... Looks like fractals have power. And the girl definitely made one, by filling it with the spiritual energy of her unborn child. And... With of course her. Silent Hill. But when the girl hanged herself, her good and bad memories were mixed together with the energy, she gave back to the world, and thus she created a portal to the only place she was somewhat comfortable with (despite the bullies) - the school. The portal itself is the gate to her own personal hell. If someone takes a step ahead through the portal, there's no turning back. The girl consumes every single soul brave (or foolish) enough to walk in. Fractals are endless. As the torment of the girl, who lives under the "schools"...

In my head canon, the guy with the Syncope handbag is related, in some way, to the shit that went down at Salvation (I think he knocked up the cheerleader, knowing the town wouldn’t take kindly to that). He also had a hand in making SCP-332 behave the way it does, and also contributed to the anomalousness of the Class of ‘76 subcanon. I suspect the other cheerleaders decided to peer pressure the one into getting pregnant but didn't expect her to actually go that far, much less get pregnant. Because of how clicky the town was, the teen began feeling depressed and or maybe she lost the baby, making her feel worse. So now she shows up as the black entity and is warping the town and stuff because instead of her death teaching a lesson about not being so cruel to each other, the town just continued on being the way it was. Either that or maybe the 10th cheer leader was the black entity's mother and being a daughter of a single mother in town like that made both daughter and mother isolated but were likely unable to afford to move. So all that negative talking behind their backs still drove them into madness.

As a person in the Midwest, I can confirm that nobody leaves their doors unlocked at night. Most lock them during the day. Even here, isolation breeds mistrust of outsiders, even if we don’t use that kind of language.
Man, being encased in dirt for 20 seconds sounds absolutely terrifying....
Great video as always! Just one thing though, Fletcher seems confused about what happened to the tenth one, literally 20 seconds after she described the her being found hanging in the forest….ummmm
No.
Well, they did say that the amnestics they used in the beginning were dodgy.
I've been waiting to see this SCP in your channel for SOOO LOOOOONG
Idk the corporate-esque animation style gives this whole video a creepy insider educational vibe. Love it
Nice vid! Could you talk more about 5031? me and my sister love rewatching that video!
Edit: Yeeeet anthooorrrr murder monsterrr
Same!
Dr. Iris, back to your archival duties.
@@dr_xur9827 oops right away sir
To be fair, a student standing up and rolling their eyes to the back of the head before descending into the floor and disappearing suddenly is fairly typical high school behavior. As is unintelligible speech during broadcasts.
Though the animator's choice to make it JUST their eyes that went walkabout was somewhat unexpected.
Day 8 of asking for a 6113 video. I won't stop until one is made. Seriously. 6113 is one of the best works of fiction in human history.
Your comment made me read that one. I was kinda cautious at first, but a pretty great scp it turned out to be.
it's so bad lmao
@@SpeedKing.. Sounds like you didn't make it to the end then.
Kid:"clips through the floor"
Other kids: LOL XD, so crazy, so random
This school is a Bethesda game!
That made me choke on my lunch, thanks. XD
omg we thought the same thing
15:23 Like, common sense wise, they had to have known that if the one above was super f*cked up then the ones below probably had to be way worse. I wouldn't have gone in there with anything less than an army.
this has to me one of the most mysterious scps I have seen like while watching i could barly keep up with what was going on but now that it was going and going even to the end it still does not answer much it only gives out more questions
You read my mind for the SCP I was hoping to see! By far my favorite!
DJK is my favorite author for sure
Wow this is more creepy knowing i have the same last name as one of those MTF members
It’s scary because this reality is actually very real, especially in the 1960s in the 1970s back then.
Aw yeah, one of my most favorite SCP’s (my most favorite being 3426, hint hint😏)covered by one of my most SCP youtube channels!
There just isn’t anything quite like the SCP foundation
This is very well made. I've fallen asleep seeing this, then rewatch, and I still don't remember a thing. Even better than QI! 10 / 10
The most unbelievable part of this entry is the fact that kids showed up to school even though the principal told them to take the day off.
Idk why but this scp weren't really that interesting to me but I still watched it to the end because I know it wouldn't sit right with me skipping it after you used the time to make the video for us, thank you for making it for us hunter:)
4:12 man really just decided to start breaking the game with his mcdonalds internet.
The true localization of this SCP is Maine.
And probably one of the IUI was a drunken father with a past coke adiction and a reallity warper child whose mother sufered [redacted] from the corrupt sheriff of the town.
ordinary, maine
LDPN
As someone who lives in a very small town. I can confirm that everything said in the first minute of the video is true
Wow...this one was really all over the place, with no solid explanation for the goings on. Wild
I rarely get scared by reading SCPs
but this one really gave me eery feelings. I shouldn't have watched this again in 3 am.
Researcher's, Agents, what the hell are you doing here reading this? WORK DAMNIT. - O5-6, Scientific Department Overseer
But this IS my work, sir! D:
If archival duties is what you are, continue duties as normal.
I watch your videos every. single. day.
I think im addicted O_O
Please do SCP 1032 the countdown clock
Like the thoughts in your head when its quiet in your house or room idk
Ah, now you gotta do syncope symphony and the yearbook.
I saw a comment asking for SCP-6113, so I went and read it to see what it was.
Day 1 of supporting the request for SCP-6113
They finally did a video on it
I almost wish they left it unexplained. Throw in some more random mysterious details. Something about such specific, mysterious details while everyone is refusing to acknowledge the strangeness of remaining completely unexplained is very cool.
Literally 9 seconds after it was posted
Please do a video about SCP-336 or SCP-5732 !
This is one of those SCPs where clearly all the pieces that are needed to solve the lore are there, but actually solving the lore is frustratingly just barely out of reach.
SCP 001 when day breaks (SCP 6034 the crack in the trench)
SCP 001 when DAY breaks (SCP 3935 this thing a quiet madness made)
SCP 001 when DAY breaks (SCP 993 bobble the clown)
001 when DAY breaks (SCP 2200 soulberg)
SCP 001 when DAY breaks (SCP 2662 Cthulhu)
umm am I in the dark how do these correlate
@@dr.ham101 yeah, I dunno…🤷♂️
@@dr.ham101 he wants videos about how each of these SCPs would would act in the when day breaks scenario.
@@KingFlameHawk oh
Can you please make more scp-049 videos?
An episode I'd love to see is the Ethic's Comity's MTF Law's Left Hand or Omega-1 sort of like Alpha-1 Red Right Hand It is the MTF to protect the Ethic's Comity and kill people the Comity seems as "unethical". Although they do nothing to SCPs or abnormal related but it's a good MTF nonetheless.
I've heard Syncope before and I think what's going on is that it's a group of people from times when the apocolypse happened and the old world was forgotten post Yellowstone Revival, they're trying to be remembered, they don't want to be forgotten, they won't be forgotten
Syncope: temporary loss of consciousness caused by a fall in blood pressure or the omission of sounds or letters from within a word
Scp 049 + the desire camera
another anomaly the scp cant contain, just merely testing it by sending MTF, d-class, or research to die.
Nothing smart just thoughts: I am gonna see this in my nightmares.
I like that you Do not talk too fast.
I got here just in time I love your videos
Why not make a video of S.C.P 001 when day breaks with Dr.Kain
That map u used after the cafeteria thing was a map u used in SCP 106 vs SCP 096
finnaly less when day breaks content- I'm all for the scp but I like learning about new scps a lot more
"The kind of place where people left their doors unlocked at night" has NEVER been a REAL thing.
The channel needs to come up with a plush for the stached balding guy who shows up everywhere. He has more cameos than Stan Lee. He has to be an SPC.
I get the animation's limitations but its just funny seeing a bunch of 16-17 year olds the same size as preteens in these animations
The Dredge, in DBD, reminds me of this story. I couldn't remember witch SCP it and its lore reminded me of. Shit's scary.
Okay, now this scp is the most paranormal type I have ever seen 0_0
How does the foundation make sure that the amnestic erases the specific memories they want it to?
I’m guessing dosage is a major part of the process.
