Some of it very likely. Sindalah is pretty much complete for example.
I think that the line will go on for a while maybe 5 to 10 km then they will start building a new part of the city, and in the background continue building the line, while expanding the city in new zones. It's a mystery babylon.
You are insane this isn’t a normal country trying to find funds this is one of the wealthiest families in the world funding this. This will absolutely be done bc they want to be ahead of the forefront of the future. You see Dubai? You see Abu Dhabi ??

Something is gonna work out there. It's probably going to become a massive city one day.
We all see that construction is actually taking place and the project is moving forward. We are confident that one day this will be a populated city.

@@richardpapiernik3504 Certainly! I personally would go there, and I have no doubt they can build such a building. The only thing is the length that seems a bit exaggerated to me, but who knows... we'll find out soon :)

What about all the laws in Saudi Arabia that don’t accommodate the Western World, starting with women rights or is NEOM market target the Middle East people only?
@@sak_5 This is a topic that is becoming increasingly discussed, and seeing the actual progress of the project, more and more people are beginning to talk about it. Very soon, we will make a video specifically on this topic, and we believe it will be interesting for many of us.
They are building a future meme, which, btw, will never be build. The world is going to laugh, in a lol way, in a couple of years.

Already, many world records in the field of construction have been set there, so why shouldn't this be one of the next? But the question is, will they stop adding new elements and zones to the project?

then how is it possible hundreds of empires in 5 years..?!!
@@Baaz9898 far more workers, advanced building technology, much larger scale of industrial output compared to the era of the empire state building.. for instance, float glass plants were not established then, which now make glass that will cover the entire structure as panels instead of being nestled in formed window structures. Of course, the steel and concrete work will require significant human labor
@HowStructure That is way too optimistic. This project will be abandoned or reduced significantly in size like a lot of other ridiculous major projects

Oh, it would have been great if they had paid us for this video :) They haven't paid us, but we are curious about what is coming next, and we are analyzing the publications and the construction progress.

Without a doubt, the total cost will increase further. Undoubtedly, we are talking about a massive and very ambitious project!
You do realize this isn’t American worker wages right?? The Indian/ Bangladeshi men are getting paid pennys on the dollar to build this, I’m in a Dubai shipyard right now and I’ve watched these guys work day and night non stop constructing 100 million dollar rigs like it’s nothing . Open your mind to greatness
@@passportpapi713 You mean you don't consider other cost apart from construction? Architect fees, materials, sewage management, metro/rail workers and etc? Regardless, I don't claim to know the project well. But even I would realistically set the budget above USD 1 Trillion.

@@Jaronite well I think they said the initial budget of 500 billion which means they will start at that minimum and work their way up, I’m certain it will be over a trillion , but let’s see what happens , I believe in the crown prince he’s really good for Saudi and they all love him much more than the king before.

Probably it can be built. But I think the more important question is: would anybody want to live there?
Surely, there will be many people who want to live there, as well as many who don't want it to be that way :)
This absurd farcical venture will be abandoned in a couple of years.
