I have the Ode g1 with SSPMP, and use the opposite side from the fins, works great. James said in his video that they were close enough in taste but did give the edge to the SSP being a little better. The casual coffee drinkers may not notice that much difference, which is why he recommended getting the stock over paying the extra for SSP.
Hi Hoon! Great channel! I have a Baratza Vario, with steel burrs. I am thinking of switching to Ode2 w ssp for pour over. I’m not sure if I’d be making gains in clarity or not. Any other recs for pour over grinders welcomed. Btw, you have inspired me to try cups using different grinders. I have a 1z k pro and a comandante. It’s been interesting to compare. As I’m typing, I am realizing I probably won’t get rid of the Vario.

Whats about filter coffee on the ode v2 vs the ssp cast lab sweet burr? I just order a DF64 with the cast burr... did a waste the Money? lol
