Love the commentary. My thoughts exactly on maiden day and when everything actually works as it should. Well done

Seems about right. The lense gets all wet and foggy right before you get that perfect launch. I like to preset a switch in my radio that gives me 25% up elevator for launching. Then you can throw it in stability mode or manual mode and it will fly right out of your hand. That launch you did perfect, I toss it straight up in stability mode about 3/4 to full throttle and the auto level brings the nose down perfectly. By the time the nose comes down I got my goggles down and can switch off the stability and my launch switch and I'm gone...

@@unger_cnc great wing tho. I'm turning my beat up AR 900 into a CARpirinha by putting a 1000kv motor and 10x5 folding prop on her. I flew it the other day with a 4500mah 4s lipo and a tmotor F80 1900kv motor and 7x45 flash prop. For 15 minutes and she was very fast and stable. Then I started thinking about redesigning it to carry the load and use it better.

@@jamesordwayultralightpilot nice. I wish they made the caipirinha a little bigger. It would certainly help with the heavy wing loading.
Cool you’re utilizing your ar900 though. Always fun to experiment with different setups.
I recently just bought a Zohd Dart XL extreme. Love the look of it and it seems to have much better flight characteristics vs the caipirinha. Haven’t flown it yet, but I’ll get a video up once it’s fully set up.

@@unger_cnc it's my phoenix plane for sure. Everytime I crash I just glue it back together and it always flies again. I can't bring myself to retire it and salvage the electronics because who knows how many more flights she has left in her.
I was so surprised at how well it flew with that giant battery in it now here I sit waiting for my motor lol

Can somebody help me with the setup here to rock my caipi on? I recently bought a kit without electronics and now i want to set it up for the first flight but infortunately the most parts tbs recommends are not out there anymore. Can you guys help me a bit here? What is the current best bang for the buck (i dont mean cheap) setup to fly a caipi2 on?
