Hi, just saw your video and I have a question. I have a 2003 Suzuki Gypsy which is basically a LWB Samurai with a 16v G13BB engine.
I have been experiencing a wobbly transfer case lever as the vehicle speeds up. At around 50-60 kmph, the shakes can even be felt in the steering wheel. My wheels and tires are brand new and balanced etc, and there's no steering issue as well. As I started diagnosing by removing the driveshafts one by one, I found that the shaky steering was gone when I drove in 4WD without the rear propeller. I have put on a brand new rear propeller too but somehow the wobble is still there. Now I want to check the transfer case itself.
Can you please guide me what parts can cause such a wobble in the transfer case? I am guessing it is the rear output bearing. How should I go about the issue?

What torque specs were used to bolt both halves together?

It should be 9.5 to 16.5 foot pounds per repair manual… Use the bolt pattern on video to get them on there evenly… Good luck and thanks for watching

Where did you order the kit from, do you have a link to the site ?

Here's a google link with many places where you can get a kit: I think I got mine from India but the experience was not good as I had to send kit back to get the correct seals several times. Good luck on your project. www.google.com/search?q=suzuki+samurai+transfer+case+rebuild+kit&rlz=1C1GCEA_enUS1004US1004&ei=X84PZOKzEvO90PEP5Km7-AM&oq=suzuki+samurai+transfer+case&gs_lcp=Cgxnd3Mtd2l6LXNlcnAQARgBMgoIABBHENYEELADMgoIABBHENYEELADMgoIABBHENYEELADMgoIABBHENYEELADMgoIABBHENYEELADMgoIABBHENYEELADMgoIABBHENYEELADMgoIABBHENYEELADMgcIABCwAxBDMgcIABCwAxBDSgQIQRgAUABYAGDeF2gBcAF4AIABAIgBAJIBAJgBAMgBCsABAQ&sclient=gws-wiz-serp

Channel is still fairly new (a year old) but you can try oldguywawrench@gmail.com I do respond quicker here but only check my email every once in awhile since I don’t get a lot of messages there. Hopefully my channel will grow and I can have more interaction…😁
