Evening Johnny, I only have two meerschaums, a carved rugged old man sailor and a egg bowl with sectioned 12" shank that my wife gave me for a wedding present 45 yrs ago this October, don't smoke them very much. Boy I hear you on guitars and amps bought and sold over the years. My first really good guitar I bought new was a Gibson SG Deluxe in 1972, the first model they used a Bigsby on and also had a Fender Tremolux head 2 ch and 35 watts and a 4x12 bottom. That was my favorite rock/blues rig of the "70s for a while, but then kinda moved away from electrics and went into acoustics playing. Traded it for an Ovation Balladeer 12 string and a 6 string Ovation Legend. And the legacy continues, back to rock/blues, amp, Strat's and LP's, again. There are so many others that have come and gone, just like you, but I guess that part of enjoy music and being a guitarist. Its in our blood . and fingers and our souls. Nice Meer Onion. I'm watching you and smoking a bowl of Black Irish Twist. Armchair Ed is a YTPC gem !! Sorry to see you suffer with allergies. I think the claws and the bottom of the pipes coloring is from the oil of your hands.

Morning Onion, nice Meer you're smoking. Love the way it is coloring up. The color a Meer takes on depends on the tobacco you smoke in it. I have a hawkbill shaped Meer that has colored black. I also have a carved viking Meer that is coloring up a gorgeous brown. Congrats on hitting 1600 videos. I'd also be curious as to how many cokes you've consumed during the making of those videos. Hello Simon, everything is good here, just been extremely hot and humid here so I’ve been trying to get my work done early and staying inside when it gets into the 90’s. Too hot to smoke!
@@tracycc123 thanks for checking in, all is well, it’s just been incredibly hot and humid here. I try and get my work done early then head in to the house with the AC. Been too hot to smoke outside or even in the barn. I’ll be back at it soon.
I guess you could but you’d. Have to trim it around the Ed of the stem the goes between your teeth and locks in behind them. I think it would hinder what makes the p-lip so great, the way it locks in your teeth.
