You know, I’m still waiting for literally anyone to address what I said in the video instead of just saying something like “bad take” or arguing something else entirely. You’re just proving me right.
Forgot about this game. Going to have to re-install and see where its at. I was on this game 24/7 the first few months it was out. So many fun memories.
Minus 273 kelvins take Also, the butcher is probably a more enjoyable gun to acquire since you have a more diverse lmg arsenal to play with instead of the Orion, a worse Anchor and the rest.
I find that the majority of people who say "[X] weapon is OP" have never even used said weapon before. Specifically the directive weapons. Sat in platoon once listening to a guy with 0.70 k/d go on and on about how the BG was way too strong and that they needed to nerf it, only for him to immediately admit that he's never even played VS. Like brother, how are you gonna sit there and say a weapon is OP when you have never even used it?
Betel/Orion are gonna be better for direct 1v1's thanks to much better hipfire (especially Betel with it's bugged laser sight) but it's planetside, playing live server Butcher will always be comfy gun to use, Butcher will always be better on pointholds and pushes. Personally I don't think there's even that many cases when you need 300 rounds, 150 is plenty, it's veeeery rare that you have to spend whole 150 rounds without getting any downtime to reload, and if really needed one can run scavenger for all of those rounds back on revive.
@@Stanislav-i5s Betel has bugged laser sight, it gives 40% instead of 33%, and Orion already has one of the best lmg hipfires so it makes it ever so slightly bit too strong for 1v1's imho
1) Butcher can run a laser if you’re fine with 150 rounds. Not as good as the Betelgeuse for hipfire though, sure. 2) Butcher range and Betelgeuse range is basically the same as I establish fairly well in the video. 3) You’re right that there aren’t many situations where you actually do need 300 rounds. And, as I point out in the video, that also means there aren’t many situations where someone needs 7 magazines worth of Betelgeuse.
@@Dudisfludis Yeah, I found cutting that massive hipfire cof by 30% to improve both ads time and hipfire is much more beneficial than boosting already massive mag. There's no argument on range though, I don't think I phrased it in that way, like you said, they have same ads stats and easy to deal with recoil. It's the close range 1v1 fights that might give you better edge with betel, but again, it's almost never 1v1's anyways.
As a VS main, I have all 4 ARX LMGs, with over 3,000 frags on all of them except Gallilei, and I'll say that TRs really underestimate Butcher. It's one of the few guns in the game that can stop a crowd if positioned correctly. However, most TRs are tied to the MSW-R, which, along with the Orion, GD-22, Anchor and Maw, are essentially heavy assault rifles, not LMGs. The Watchman could also compete with the Butcher if it had at least 200 rounds in the magazine, but its reload time is just awful. But I still think the Godsaw is the best machine gun in the game.
The time it takes to switch back to a butcher after utility/launcher/pistol seems like a pain. *if it has extended mag - same for other weapons with ext mag Secondly, as you partially pointed out, 99% of players are not going to be killing more than two people per life, let alone chain killing enough people that the lower ammo pool is a factor. Shield regen delay and chip damage is far more important for pacing than ammo for 99% of players. Third, as you briefly mentioned people mainly blame weapons as cope; the weapon isn't that important. Go aimlabs and get a 40% hsr/acc if you really care that much. On the other hand, something I didn't see mentined is with many NC and TR weapons(butcher included) you have the ammo to pre-fire into a corner/room which arguably has a lot of value for the average planetman.
@@plasma5656 This is because adding such a small RPM difference doesn’t really change the TTK to any degree really worth mentioning as a strong point. But, yes, it does fire faster.
Weird to bring up infiltrator when discussing LMGs, but ok bro… Can heavy assault go almost completely invisible so you can get ignored and hide mid-fight or are you just one of those infil mains inhaling that military grade copium I was talking about? Do you play with more than 40fps? Do you use infiltrator 98% of the time you play? Can you get any kills in the game without waiting for someone to look away from you then uncloaking and shooting them in the back because they never saw where your potted plant looking dude was? Edit: Liking your own comment is pretty cringe by the way.

But seriously though, the butcher is so underrated to the point of being baffling

Ignoring the fact that betel has higher headshot multiplier, no bulletdrop, infinite ammo, and its VS!!!! This is ludicrous.

Butcher has too much muzzle flash. Hate that trash weapon. Luv mswr, betel
Maybe I’m missing something because in the video I have none.

This is obviously such a non biased video. It really does not have nothing to do with hating the TR much. Pot.Kettle.Black.

TR wins again
no suprise there, most TR players were always braindead
But the Betelgeuse has no bullet drop, Vanu OP plz nerf
also msr-w is just objectively the best LMG. TR just salty plebs
