Ya my older brother has been asking for “the long beanie, the boy wears in the Christmas Story” lol but he wants it Green Bay colors. I’ve tried without a pattern along time ago. But it’s kinda funky lol. So here I I’m trying round 2 on his beaning. Thanks for a Tutorial!

Hi! Thank you :) Merry Christmas!!
I've seen so many videos, an I must say, there's nobody like you. Sorry I talk alot. Just thank you,I'm definitely making it for my son
Belia Macias .....
I have a question?
I want to make my husband a hat
Can I use merino yarn and make that tail end longer ?
One color to?
Hi! Merino yarn is a lovely fiber but as its (typically) very expensive, I recommend handing washing it when it needs it. This pattern can be made to fit any head, so it doesn't matter so much what fiber or even yarn weight you use so long as the cuff fits around the head you're making it for and you make it deep enough to fit the crown before you taper into the tail. You might want to keep trying it on him to ensure a good fit as you work. And you can make it any colour or combination of colours you like 😊
So cute! I’d like to make one for a baby. My kids are going to get pictures with santa I’d love to make these for them ❤️
Hi Kristy, ohmygosh yes!! That would be SO CUTE!
Hi Jayda, Sorry for commenting so much; but I had some more suggestion for Christmas: Gingerbread Man or a Tomte Gnome (my favourite)
Hi Jeevie, thank you for the suggestions :)
Love this …❤❤❤👌👌👌
Thank you for watching Jackie 😊
Hi jayda 👸🏻hope all is well…. I was wondering if you can make a very simple Santa’s hat using worsted weight and starting from the end I can not ever get the brim working up 🤶🏼🤶🏼🤶🏼 please that would be my Christmas miracle 🤣 thank you for considering 😍
Hi! This style can be made all in red with a white brim for a cute Santa hat...in fact the brim can be made in white fluffy yarn too! This style is easier to fit to a head and doesn't require a gauge, where as one worked from the top down does. If you don't have a measuring tape, you can simply make the brim part until it wraps comfortably around your head and then you can seam it and carry on 💗
I really was thinking the same 🥰🥰🥰 thanks so much I love your personality and tutorials so much ♥️🤶🏼🤶🏼🤶🏼
Can we please see some curly toed elf slippers to go with the awesome hat this year?
Cute! Thank you for the suggestion, Amanda :)
Very cute! Can you teach us how to make an English Nap Cap? The kind Ebenezer Scrooge wore to sleep?
TheGoldenpen Aris I would do this same patter. Without the stripes and bell/pompom. I would make it loonger by not reducing every row and make it all white. And there you have it an English Nap Cap :)
Pattern*
Hi, very cute one dear,I am going to try this one for my little angels for Christmas Mass. thanks for the great idea😘😘😘😘 merry Christmas 😇😇😇
Hi Vima! That's great :) Merry Christmas!
Jayda, do you know how to make a thingy to help me make a pom pom?
Hi! You can use your own fingers! Cut a length (about 12") and lay it between your 2 middle fingers. Then wrap yarn around your 3 middle fingers (as much as you want for a big pompom). Then pull the two ends of the short length up and around the wrapped yarn, hold it tightly and carefully slide the whole thing off your fingers. Tie the short length of yarn around the wrapped yarn as tightly as you can, in the middle of the yarn. Wrap it around a couple of times and knot it again. Then, cut all the loops on both sides and start trimming up the pompom 😊
I really love your toilet paper cover idea, but I wanted a different design for gifts, so I'm going to make this elf hat the size of a toilet paper roll. I think I'll keep the fluffy white lining from the santa pants.
* giggle * I love it! What a cute bit of decor for the bathroom!
This was such a fun tutorial to watch I’m starting to make one for my friend but it’s in solid black and she wants the tail to come down to her waist with a giant fur Pom Pom on it 🤪LOL
What a fun pixie hat! Thank you for watching :)
Hi Jayda this is so cute
Thank you, Amal :)
Cute!
Will this pattern work for size 6 yarn?
Hi! Super bulky yarn might be a bit thick for this pattern, but size 5 would be ok!
Your AWSUM Jayda
* giggle * Thank you Beverly! Happy Holidays!
Happy holidays to u also
Hey I was just Wondering if you have first time begin or help making for men’s hat
Hi Natascha, we do, you'll find it here: ua-cam.com/video/fgUVj9b-xFI/v-deo.html
I was wondering, is there a way to get a similar result with knitting?
If you know how to knit, absolutely, I have knit myself a few elf hats too and you can carry your yarn the same way :)
This is soooo cute
and sooooooooooo festive! I've been wearing mine all over the house * giggle *
ur channle is unique , The video , Intro everything keep going =)
Thank you Yazi! ;)
I love you're channel! Can you please show us how to make a pusheen cat? Thank you so much!
Hi Brittany, thank you for the suggestion :)
Can you use worsted weight yarn
Hi Antonnette! I'll happily answer this questions here too because it's a good one :) YES! Totally :)
Very festive! Goofy too! Lol!
That's definitely how I like my festivities LOL ;)
Niste diagrame ar fi de 100 ori mai bune !
I have no idea what I am doing wrong but the staggering is not working and its just moving all my stitches to the left.
Hi! You have to use the first st on even rows and the "false st" on odd rows. It's REALLY easy to get going, lose track and forget which one you did (or how many rows ago it was). You might find it useful to use a stitch marker. Mark the first st of the row and when you get back around, you'll see where it was made and you'll know where to finish that row 😊
Can you add elf ear to this hat
Hi Rose, you could probably sew on a couple if you made them really light!
Jayda, you're the best. How do you have a tutorial for everything I want to make? Love your videos.
* giggle * Great minds think alike, right Paige?!
Can you make mini rudolf toy? Your videos are amazing.
Hi! Thank you for watching and for the suggestion :)
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Jayda InStitches, could u do a Amigurumi deer? I've got a pattern from someone else but I don't understand it. I need help, pls. I'm doing this as a Christmas gift.
Hi Nora, thank you for the suggestion :)
This could be a cute witches hat for Halloween if you did a wide brim instead
Certainly! Thank you for watching :)
How do I get written pattern
Hi Monica! You'll find a written pattern for our Elf Hat in our Etsy Shop (link in description below video). Thank you for watching 😊
How would I make it longer?
Hi! After the hat narrows, just repeat the same number or stitches in each row without decreasing for as long as you like :)
it's beautiful but can. you make a nurse hat tutorial
Hi Vanetta, Thank you for the suggestion :)
Have have a pattern
Hi Rose, we hope to have this pattern posted in our Etsy shop shortly :)
