Great coaching! As a beginner I rotate the elbow and had a struggle to get it right, even slapping painfully my unguarded underarm with the string. Now I just have to activate the triceps and the elbow is in the right position. Thank you!

In fact you will find your own way to accomplish a good shooting cicle... some archers will agree with that "rotation" some others don't... truth is, there are different and unique techniques for a good shot as many archers are in the professional league... at the same time, it's all a development in time... you can watch the techniques of the professional archers of Munich '72 and compare it to Rio '16 and you'll find huge differences... good shooting!

I've just come across this and found it quite useful, particularly the bit about the draw. However, apart from JC Valladont, I've never seen any top class archers drawing back exactly like this. Does anyone know if this methodology has now been superseded by another method?

El limite de la cuerda es en realidad la punta de la nariz. Si te excedes con eso, le estas exigiendo más al arco y puede ser perjudicial
