1965 Mustang The Rustang Engine Work Part 17.3

This is the motor that can out of the 1965 Mustang/Rustang. While we have it out I thought it would be a good idea to bust it down and check a few things. Boy I glad I did. Who ever rebuilt this motor did a very poor job. Its over bored to much and the heads should have had new valve guides but they just chamfered them. They also have to much play in them (the valve guides) and like I said should have been replaced. So I decided not to take the lower end any further apart and waste money on it. We are just going to run the lower end the way it is and get a new upper end. So here we are running in more things we have to order. Might still have to get a short block for it also but not right now.
