Unless he's in a freezer so it doesn't start melting, then I'll be impressed. That and if the stacks underneath were really stacked instead of the spacing so the domino effect doesn't happen.
Not sure if that's true - a lot of the breaking competition show people trying and failing to get past the first few layers of whatever material is used. Anyway if it's that easy everyone would be filming themselves doing this...
It takes same energy to break 1 block as it does 10 blocks if each block is separated as you're breaking through one at a time. If there's no separation it's another story- you could only smash half as many
Actualy, the black belt only breaks the first ice bar. The others bars goes breaking with the weight of those that are falling from the top to down. It's all a chain reaction. That's the trick.
Just hit the middle part (weakest point) on the first block and notice how the uprights roles apart as soon as the ice starts to drop this allows the weight of the ice to dispurse (otherwise he could have broke his hand very easily because of the residence)
Physics at work. It's length of the ice combined with the spacers that makes this possible. Only the first one breaks under the impact of the blow... the rest breaks under the momentum of the first. Take only one of those ice bricks, keep the thickness the same but saw it in half... now try again.

Ice cracks when u take it out the freezer. Notice the moment u put it in a drink it makes lots of cracking noises. All he did was give it a little shock. And the first ones weight broke the rest
He only had to break one, the rest shattered from the weight of the first breaking. Notice also how the slabs are long and skinny, this makes the ice more prone to breaking if force is applied to the middle. Hardly impressive at all.
My children also can do it .wait. he hit the first one and the rest collapsed. Hahahaha...isn't obvious the rest of the ice was already crack with hairline ?
With a little technique, many people can break the first ice & that’s the only thing they should do because the lower ice will be continuously crashed by the upper ice
el truco fue partir los dos primeros bloques de hielo para que el peso rompiera los otros tres fijate cuantos rompe con la mano y lo grueso de los primeros tacos de madera comparado con los ultimos

ppl do not understand...this breaking things shows/training have the proposal to gain confidence and mental focus to achieve your/our objectives. They realy think is about brute force. Srry about my english.
You say how easy it is, bet none of you even tried it. Don't mock someone unless you have tried it yourself. Every one thinks they're tough until it's time to prove it
It is a physics trick. The top ice block's center is the weak point. The smash hits the rails after the crack and all the kinetic force travels down the outside in a V pattern splitting the rest of the ice blocks below the top rail. Yes it requires a strong hit, but the rest is an illusion of power as the kinetic force does not travel down the center through air.
I break my ice... with an easy going demeanor... and a good sense of humor😊

You only need to break the first top ice....then the ice does all the breaking works. Why dont u try to break all ice on top of each other....
Fucking trick's
That's why you should just break one thick chunk of ice like in Karate Kid instead.
