Omg… I came here because I’m refinishing one kind of like yours and it’s such a dusty mess because it also has wood trim fencing the glass and I couldn’t come up with how to clean in between lol idk how I didn’t think I about the air gun. Lol I don’t have one but I’m gonna try the low setting of my leaf blower! thanks !!
You have a vision, to look at a piece of furniture or probably anything else, and know what it could look like. I have been refinishing furniture for a long time, but, I am not sure I have seen anyone as young as yourself do such a nice job. That usually comes from years of experience. Keep it up, you are doing things right.
Had to skip to the end when I heard you @01:30 THANK GOD you didn't paint it........Really looks good. So looking forward to TWO channels from The Larsons....twice the laughs and twice the entertainment....Thanks for posting
I like that you refinish it in what appeals to you. Not that this how it must be refinished to done correctly. I have a china hutch I plan on tackling myself.
That turned out real nice. Wayyyyyy back in the days of building and staining those beautiful cabinets, they did put ALOT of stain on them and, sometimes, the ppl that owned them thought it was just better to keep that up, rather then breaking out the linseed oil or lemon oil. Myself and a friend of mine, love to antique shop and when we spot a nice cabinet such as that one, we go in for a closer look. And, often times, ppl have ruined them by doing what was done to your cabinet, such a shame. You do good work. Love antiquing, a girl after my own passion.
Really looks awesome and I like your choice of polyurethane as I like the glossy look it gave it, I think it adds to the durability of the piece as well. Thanks for sharing and I watched this after I watched your lastest video. I hope you continue doing these as your very good at your craft.
Great lady with creative ability and skill, I am really impressed. Really inspiring to see your work. Keep up the good work and post more on this great channel to inspire others. 🙏
I have a completely round curio cabinet with two very thick glass shelves. There are a few places where the veneer is chipped off and two of the four glass panels are broken. I just hate to see this fine old piece of furniture go to waste. I was wondering where I could find the glass panels for replacement. The glass shelves are about nineteen inches in diameter and without the legs it stands about thirty five inches tall. It has a key hole for an old skeleton key which I don’t have. My mother bought it when I was about ten years old and I am now 63. She bought it from a lady who lived in plantation style house on top of look out mountain in Chattanooga Tennessee. I really would like to sell it if I could. I don’t know how to refinish wor if I should.
You know it may be just me but where I'm from I always called it a Mercurio cabinet it's a beautiful cabinet I love the all natural finish but I always love seeing something different to you got some really great ideas and you do awesome work you don't play you get right in there and get it done you will be very successful in everything you do hun you have lots of energy and a kick-ass personality sending Big Love from South cackalacky AKA South Carolina💕☺👍👍👍✊✊👊👊👊
I was noticing at 8:43 to 8:46 the vertical piece at the very top of the cabinet seems the have a different profile on the left side, than the right. Is that camera angle or are my eyes playing tricks?
I've just watched your first video as i watch chet on larson farms. I've been in construction for nearly 30 years here in Leeds uk, since i was a kid and we also make bespoke furniture for our customers so i do have plenty of tip's and tricks for lots of things, it's cool to see a younger girl getting stuck into what is mainly a man's world, let's hope you can change that and i hope you become very successful good luck keep up the good work.
She was so good at what she did, such patience
That cabinet would be awsome for my toy tractor collection

Just stopped by from Larson farms . Has Dougo seen your shop floor he would have a heart attack !! my shop is a mess also 🤣🤣
Lol he has and he always gives me a hard time for it😂 he doesn’t approve of my shops cleanliness
I was noticing at 8:43 to 8:46 the vertical piece at the very top of the cabinet seems the have a different profile on the left side, than the right. Is that camera angle or are my eyes playing tricks?
It is all the same, probably just my camera angle honestly!
Thank you
What wood finisher do you use?
Trenton Herink I ended up sanding it down and leaving it natural wood with polyurethane for the sealant

How much do you charge for the work?
She passed away last year in May.
How much do you charge?
Use a bowl and dip your site will in the bowl instead of losing all your product
