I’ve had dinner there before. The portions might seem small, but after the 20 something course you will feel stuffed! Every course is better than the one before and the dessert was the best one I have ever had in my life. We also had the wine pairing with every course. It was divine! Well worth it!
The small portions make it look too fancy and expensive. I'm going to San Diego in the middle of April. Can I get a recommendation for an affordable restaurant for a happy-to-be single guy? I'm just a merchandiser graduate student right now.
The Balboa in San Diego has AMAZING burgers, garlic fries, and drinks. Great place that is reasonably priced and nice! Wonderful Sushi is also a great sushi place in Hillcrest that is reasonable for sushi. Tavola Nostra Pizzeria y Cucina (also in Hillcrest) has great gourmet pizza at an affordable price.
there are a few crack shacks throughout SD, if you're into fried chicken! broken yolk as well for breakfast/ lunch. definitely find the top rated mexican drive thru near where you're staying for a great burrito or fish tacos. the fish market in seaport village is delicious!! pizza port has multiple locations if you're feeling like good pizza + locally brewed beer. my yard live in north county has awesome food/ brewery + does amazing work in the community. swami's cafes on the coast + teri cafe on the northern coast are my personal favorites. there are lots of great sushi/ poke places all over SD, just check reviews. if you want any kind of incredible asian food, head to kearny mesa/ mira mesa- my personal faves are korean bbq, thai, filipino or japanese curry spots but pho, ramen, banh mi or chinese are always good choices too!

Go to your hole in the wall Mexican joint and get a California Burrito or Carne Asada Fries. It’s pretty much like staple San Diego food.
I grew up in San Diego but moved to FL in 2013, and I miss Mexican food and inn n out SO MUCH 😭I’m so jealous
Impressive
It's crazy how chefs obsess over an award from a tire company.
those portions are...
He seems like a good guy & high end cuisine/restaurant quality gets these people like a mad passion.... but for most people it's pretentious & weird

There’s plenty of folks in San Diego county with enough money to buy this kinda stuff for their dog…
this didn't age well. the price was also in the video.
