Terri-Lynn was attending a Bachelorette party, and after 2 hours being late for a dinner reservation, they finally showed up to the restaurant!
Meanwhile, Derek last minute took their table as a favour to another server. Little did they know, God had completely orchestrated every little detail that night. That night they both knew that they had met the one God had for them. One year later they were engaged, and a few months after that they were married.

The part when he said “so, what do we do now” and your response was “be friends” hit differently. Thank you so much for sharing. That last part really hit me. There’s no rush with God’s gifts.

Aawww. I had a similar experience. God told me within the first few mins of meeting my future husband that he was the one. We are getting married in 2 months. It's great that your friends took the video it was so funny especially when u didn't remember his name.

Building our relationship on friendship & getting to know each other on that level was the best decision! Even though we knew we would marry each other, it was the most beautiful thing getting to know each other & simply hanging out & having fun! ☺️

Lol. This story is SO adorable and funny!! I have a feeling I know mine, but we are just friends at the moment, but like family. He worked the front desk where we lived for over a year. At first, we were distant and we started talking a little more as we would get packages, etc. And it's funny he even met my mother who came to stay at our hotel for NYE. So when we really started connecting, we were doing grocery shopping and it was heavier than usual (30-40 lbs). He was getting a snack at a gas station across the street where we made our way back. He took ALL our groceries and walked us across the street and set our bags by the elevator. I was rather blown away and refreshed by his chivalry!! So come Easter, he happened to visit our church. When I walked in and saw him, I was like, hey! I know you! What are you doing here? Come to find out recently, we BOTH felt goosebumps when we locked eyes in that moment!! So powerful. He gave me his number (I was planning to cook for him as a thank you and missed him a time or two in a row. So I was finally able to get him his dinner. That became a very regular occurrence. We have also been talking and texting nearly every day since then! He's definitely different than any other guy I've liked, but he's truly an amazing man. He's said I make him want to be a better man, etc. I've watched as his faith has grown since we've started talking. I can tell he kinda likes me, but haha some things to work through first. But I do believe it's just a matter of time. I have been praying for him a LOT. God bless you guys!!! I love hearing people's stories. I remember God told me YEARS ago not to be afraid to say yes to my husband. (I've never dated and I'll be 32 in 3 weeks). I can definitely see why more and more, but I am constantly reminded of that. I am praying things progress as they should soon (in His timing).
I did only two things while watching this video, thanking God and blushing 🥰❤,new sub from abu Dhabi, I know my waiting is worth it ,I know for sure God is not a man to lie.

This is really encouraging. Very different than the story I’m currently in but the part where God said yes this is your husband is something He has told me… but the process has been soo slow that I’ve wondered if I made it up or really heard Him. The peace I feel tells me it is God. We shall see!
