As a makeup artist I can’t stress enough how bad it is to pluck brow hairs and then apply makeup over top (it leaves the skin open to infection) so thank GOD she didn’t actually pluck them, especially after she already applied a bunch of product to the brow area!

It's probably just a kayal pencil. They do come in the wood variety and depending on the sharpener it looks that way. I'd rather appreciate that they sharpened it before use, taking off other ppl's eye gunk...

Salons should hire individual specialists in each aspect of makeup....foundation, eye shadow, eyebrows, lipstick, etc. That way each can perfect their craft without having to take on areas beyond their expertise.
