Hey y’all! Thanks so much for watching. 😁 We had a phenomenal experience at the Newmar Service Center. Thanks to everyone there for creating a great place. And, bonus… we got to hang out with a bunch of great Newmar owners who were there when we were. RVers are awesome! 👋
I have enjoyed yall's videos for over 2 years now and not a one has ever disappointed me. I had no idea Newmar had grown so much since they gave up the travel trailers. I miss those so much. My dad and I both had 40 ft fifth wheels in the late 80s. And they were well taken care of by Newmar back then. Great people there for years.
We did a factory pickup there this past November for our Canyon Star. We're headed back in September to get all of our warranty work done. This time we'll have the dog with us, last time she was a doggy day care at our home in SC. We're not full time yet..... I'm excited that they have a dog lounge area too. We may do some day trips while they are working unless I decide to work from the lounge so I don't have to take vacation days. I love Newmar so much.
The last time we were in that area visiting, we ate at George's Highlander in Etna Green. It was good. There was snow on the ground and the waitress had a bit of a Michigan accent. Really impressed with the facility. As soon as I thought, you can eat off that floor, Tom said it. Hard to imagine a cleaner repair facility. Meanwhile in Texas, we got a spot at a local popular state park because the high is 103F. At least the Texas heat frees up some campsites. Bet you are enjoying the cool weather.
Very nice Video, Stacey and Tom! I have to say, Freedom is a gorgeous coach and Newmar has some very impressive facilities, we are so glad to be a member of the Newmar family with our 2020 Dutch Star 4369!
Always enjoy your videos, even this interesting one at the repair shop. You folks are the most fun to watch. Love your beautiful home and that great jeep truck! Have a great month. Love Texas!!!
Nice place to hang out to get maintance done. It's been so hot I've been hidding out at home. We might be getting much needed rain this coming week. Do take care. Love y'all
A far cry nicer than the older facility where we went for our one year warranty check up years ago. Thanks for this video and don’t forget to get a Haystack plate for breakfast at a nearby Amish restaurant in Dutch Village, if it’s still there. Safe travels.
I’ve been watching RV channels because im selling my house now and looking to buy an RV and travel. So I just ran into your channel and I’m enjoying it. I’ve never owned a Motorhome so it’s been an adventure trying to decide what to buy. I love your Motorhome but a little more than I’m looking to spend. It will most of the time be just my dog and myself and my daughters some when they have breaks from college.
Hi Stacey and Tom, I just wanted to say that Mike and I (Deb) really enjoyed talking with you at the little restaurant in Nebraska. Thank you so much for sharing information and just talking with us! There is so much to learn from sharing experiences and information with each other about RVing. Running into you was the highlight of our time there! We hope to see you again sometime on the road! Happy Trails!
We really enjoyed it as well! Maybe one day we will see ya in a campground & we can set around a campfire & enjoy more stories! Thanks again for saying hi! Safe Travels and Happy Camping!
Hey y’all! 👋 we purchased a Newmar 4328 two months ago. Currently at Mountain Valley RV resort in UT where we are attending the F/T KKlub rally. Then on to Rock Springs, WY for the International Rally next month! Tks for sharing your experience at the Napanee service center. We need to call and make an appointment for our one year maintenance service that will be due December. By then we will be in Florida around Jacksonville. Looks like they have a Newmar service center in that area. Hope it’s a good one.
Very fortunate to have stumbled across your video. It feels like this is what my dream RV travel would look like. I have a few questions that I want to ask you. First, what kind of driver's license is required for such an RV? Second, I looked at the newmar website and there are no 33 foot RVs anymore, there are 34 foot ones. The patterns on the outside are not as beautiful as yours. But when I checked the body parameters, it showed that the trailer weight was 5000 lbs. I'm confused, is the tow weight 5000 lbs or 10000 lbs? Thank you very much!
In Texas anything over 26,000 lbs. requires a special license but not commercial & Newmar doesn’t manufacture the 33’ New Aire anymore, we got the last one in 2021. The one you found is a different trim level & it may not tow the same as ours. If you want one like ours you will need to find a used one or need to get the 35’ version, that’s all they sell new now. Good luck!!!🍀👍🏻
@@rvamericayall thank you very much! My eyes are already on the new 35-foot 3549 model. I didn't like RVs with slide outs, Because of the slide outs part, it will bring more dust, more external noise, and it will be damaged sooner or later. I also noticed that you mentioned in another video that when the slide outs is folded, the space in the rv becomes very narrow, which will bring inconvenience during long-distance driving and at night. I am considering these factors. Nonetheless, I'm still focusing on the new aire because like you, I want to install more solar panels. At the same time, I would also like the air conditioner in the bedroom to be quieter.
I am glad they have good service, but why is stuff broken after a year? I am not sure if Newmar is a coach I want to invest in considering the high initial cost.
We are full timers, all RV’s will have some issues. Your driving your house down these bumpy roads, as everyone says, it’s a earthquake for the RV eveytime you go down the road!
Please tell me details about your solar set up. I have 1600 watts of solar on my roof. Another 400 watts of solar in portable but haven't used the portable yet & 8 battle born batteries. My batteries are going dead on me everyday.. thev1st night I ran them completely down as I ran 2 a/cs all night & can't seem to get them all the way charged now. Battle born seems to think they're ok. I qasgoing to add 2 more batteries which would nake 10. Am I over reacting,
Wow, not sure because ours is a 48 volt system. Do you have 2 inverters? If not, I’m surprised that both your A/C’s are on the inverter. If so they would drain those batteries fast & if the wiring is not all the same lengths on all the batteries then they won’t discharge and recharge at the same rate (that cause trouble). Good luck!
Are you going to cover the punch list that you had addressed, every RV has them, just curious. Like the floor heat, if they had to remove a floor tile did they need any of the spares that was provided when you bought it?
Great video! I appreciate the info about the Newmar Service Center. We currently are in a Tiffin 2018 Open Road. We are looking at trading in and purchasing a Newmar Ventana. How do you like your Newmar and the customer service? Safe travels! Thank you again.
Not at all, but as full time RVers we have always gone back to the manufactures for annual repairs because we enjoy it. If things happen mid year that can’t wait we will go to one of the NIRVC locations depending on where we are at at that time!

There was a Newmar 5th wheel there when we were there! Thanks for watching and the kind words.
Wow! What a World class facility!
It really is!

A total first class facility!

Amazing facility ... Better than Lexus service lounge

@@rvamericayall yes I have 2 inverters & I can run both A/Cs.. I have 12 volt everything..
Stacie do you drive the coach?
She doesn’t but she can. She our 35’ diesel pusher but she drives the Jeep & I drive the coach!
Are you going to cover the punch list that you had addressed, every RV has them, just curious. Like the floor heat, if they had to remove a floor tile did they need any of the spares that was provided when you bought it?
They gave us additional tiles that matched so we didn’t have to use our spares. Other than that the list was very minor stuff.
That comfort drive must be turn down low… I see a lot of corrective steering. Was that the case or was the road just bad.
Rough road but I’m going to get the comfort drive checked!
Winnebago Factory Service starts at 7 am and finishes at 3pm.
Thanks for the info!
Lincoln was a long long long long time ago!
???

Love it! Good luck in your search! NIRVC is the top seller of Newmar’s out there, maybe they can help you!!!
Was there something wrong that Indoor RV Center in Dallas was unable to repair that you had to drive all the way to Indiana?
Not at all, but as full time RVers we have always gone back to the manufactures for annual repairs because we enjoy it. If things happen mid year that can’t wait we will go to one of the NIRVC locations depending on where we are at at that time!
I saw a rig like yours pulling a red jeep west bound on I-80 in Nebraska today. Was that you? If not you have a twin.
You definitely saw us! 😊
@@rvamericayall Saw you in North Platte, we were on the overpass when you went by. Nice looking rig going down the road. Looking for cooler weather?
cool vid love the hat
Thanks
Where is Astro
He was in the video a couple of times
Newmar sure makes it convenient for y'all to get the maintenance done. Good video....Howard
