I just found your channel and I can say you do an incredible job keeping the length as short as possible while explaining the lore. Next I want to see the Sisters of Battle and the Ecclesiarchy explained or the Chaos Undivided lore.
Trying to understand this as much as I can after the excitement I have for the new Space Marine 2 game coming out, this feels like watching a movie where some simple human has a chance to gain all knowledge of the galaxy and immediately being destroyed because no one person should carry all of that information. It’s hard for me to really care for any one faction/person with the seemingly unending amount of them. Which is cool in its own way.

So we actually do know where the orcs come from they come from the krocks made by the old ones to help defeat the necrons the krocks are bigger and more intelligent knowing how to use there warp power of thought however when the necrons fled to there tomb worlds they struggled to find worthy opponents and devolved into orcs
there is actually an old explanation about from where orcs come from, they was maded by the old ones, as Krorks to fight Nercons. The Krork is 12 meters tall, and was wearing mega-armor that rivaled Astartes power armor in terms of sophistication, and each of them, as Aeldari had psychic powers, wich is still present in Orks, in their unknow power of believe.

The Imperium of Man is a mess and a shadow of its former glory, mostly relying on tech which was developed thousands of years prior. It worships the Emperor as a God Emperor. The Emperor was alive and thriving in the 30th millennium, around the time he revealed himself. At that time, the Emperor forbade humanity from worshipping him as a God. Part of the Emperor's mission was to restore humanity to the technological peak it experienced around the year 20,000. 10k years before the Emperor showed up. Essentially, the Emperor wasn't known to mankind until 30k. Then the Horus Heresy happened. 10k years pass and we're in the setting of Warhammer 40k.

Cuz i see a lot of videos/lore about the actual/recent events happening in 40k but it's hard to find "old" lore on the past (20th/30th millenium) and why it became this way with the imperium. I found a lot about the big warp rift opened in the middle of the galaxy, the tyranids etc... on the other hand. As i played the Dawn of war series and in particular Dark Crusade i'm curious about the other factions
