As someone who lives in Europe, it's so weird to see how people drive in the US - every lane has different speeds, you can overtake on the right lane, you can drive slowly on the left lane - a total chaos. Here, at least in Germany and Switzerland, you are only allowed to overtake on the left, and if you are not overtaking anyone, you have to drive as far to the right as possible. Anyway, I digress. The sound of this bike is so sweet, I started considering it - I'm on the market for a new bike and so far my shortlist consisted of Yamaha XSR700, Triumph Trident 660, and Honda CB650R.
It’s actually supposed to be that way here but people really disregard most things. So as a motorcycle I’m usually just trying to pick my way through the chaos haha. I think you should definitely consider this bike too. It’s a wonderful comfortable ride
Like others have said, that definitely is how the lanes should work in the U.S., but when I got my license in Las Vegas when I was 18 there was nothing in the drivers handbook or the test about how to use the lanes properly. And it seems like on the highway cops really only pull people over for speeding. I live in Utah now and you’ll even see the cops driving like everyone else like overtaking people on the right, using the wrong lanes, etc.
Man I wish lane splitting/filtering was legal here. I do it sometimes when I just can't deal with waiting anymore. But I always feel super sketched about it - if a driver got pissed I can't really say anything to defend myself. I am technically breaking the law.
Yeah, if someone wants to get overly aggressive because I’m trying to beat the heat they can meet the repercussions of that decision. I’m not fucking around with rager cagers.
would you say its good for a 6' rider? I'm considering f750gs or waiting for the new vstrom 800. the bmw has more torque, the suzuki has more top end hp
@@Motorcycle360 yeah, I use a phone mount that connects to the GPS dock. I have a fully loaded 2020 F750GS. The mounts sold on Amazon, it’s alright, but within the last month my phone flew off of it twice and luckily I somehow caught it midair twice in canyons. I’m gunna buy the bmw navigator, but it’s so hard to pull the trigger on something that’s so clearly wayyyyyyyyyyyy overpriced for what it is and I can’t find a reasonably priced one on eBay yet. I do know there’s other GPSes that’ll get a charge from the dock, but does this 3rd party option actually work with the bike’s controls? I can’t find it on google.
No, it doesnt work with the bike controls, its more of a carplay unit. Not saying i recommend one, just that they exist. something like this: www.ebay.com/itm/355749176893?chn=ps&_trkparms=ispr%3D1&amdata=enc%3A11av_fpd0SF2iKJcgihfrBw12&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-0&mkcid=2&mkscid=101&itemid=355749176893&targetid=2296244299566&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9033389&poi=&campaignid=21214302385&mkgroupid=159999361623&rlsatarget=pla-2296244299566&abcId=9407524&merchantid=5351161589&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwgpCzBhBhEiwAOSQWQZmuutlPUP_MPtMaiZlRuzurY5f6sCenR5jm1m2OVozrC2X9WFG-PxoCSPUQAvD_BwE
Just got this bike a month ago it’s my first bike and I love it!
Hell yeah. It will treat you well!
He's right! I got mine nearly 4 months ago lol

No brasil é pior te garanto.
Think this could be my next bike... Performance seems pretty good!
It’s plenty to get you in trouble! Lol
Not bad, fun power for sure, problem is it's a weird purpose bike... doesn't do anything great... theres so many better purpose bikes!
@@keithquinn5624 It is a generalist bike for sure!

In Seattle, is it legal to overtake in traffic between the lanes, when they are completely stopped?
Filtering or splitting? No, not really legal but many people do it anyways for their own safety.
Just bought a new 2023 was torn about putting crash bars on. What’s your opinion?
I didn’t, but it’s never a bad idea to protect your investment!
Bike sounds really good
Thanks so much, my friend!!

I’m 6’1/245lbs and have found it to work really well for me. I’m definitely a larger man and don’t over size the bike or anything like that.
you can select the seat height between 765 mm up to 845mm 😊
Volvo 240 is best thing about this video ;)
Personally i think its when i did like 110mph across the bridge... but to each their own.
@@Motorcycle360 bridge was also nice :)
I think i saw this Volvo in one of your other videos.
I wish the bmw gps units weren’t so insanely priced
Yeah $1000 isn’t cheap! For sure. I heard there’s a 3rd party unit though now. So check for options
