_The brand name "Yale" is so often used, lots of different types and styles of locks, keys and cylinders are made as "Yale" .... als german BKS used Yale as brand, and some italian made stuff. Also Yale and Towne in Great Britain or USA ... and so on. And also in Spain they made STS (Tesa) cylinders as "Yale" ...._ _so everything is possible, when You have some goods with "Yale" brand on it. This padlock looks like Chnese, but better quality, and not this scrap whre the main part is made out of plastic._
Yale branded items were always made by pretty strict quality control by Yale Co.And always in case of Italian locks,it was stamped Yale Italy.This is pure sinter iron Chinese DD lock.China becomes a huge problem in speaking of security devices,it eats all companies , slowly but surely.
