DIM DIY - Elementor Forms Widget Submissions - Part I - Issue/Problem

This DIM DIY video covers using Elementors Form Widget with the 'Submissions' option. Issues we had with it concern keeping info we don't need and not keeping inputs we do. IMO its fine for ultra simple forms but not quite ready for prime time if your form isn't. This is part I of 3 that shows what we found.. Part II will show how we are dealing with it until Elementor provides an update that fixes some or all of it.
Update: Rather than a single long video we are doing this in 3 videos. This covers the issue/problem, the second will go over finding the cause(s)/trouble shooting plus creation of a database table to use instead of Elementor's 'submission' , the third will show how to use one of Elementors built in hooks to capture form data and write it to database table we created in previous (2nd) video.

PS.. There is a formal request submitted to Elementor to address this.. Depending on when you view this it may or may not have been addressed. We chose to not use additional plugins as a fix but rather wait for them to address it.
