The sub list i have is filled with the absolute best of what i like on UA-cam anything im half hearted with i dont do as it clogs up the up the list and makes it harder to find the content i truly enjoy. I think Premieres are slightly unpopular because people click on the thumbnail and then realise they can't watch the video immediately. I'm just speculating really, but people don't always pay attention. You also have to consider how people see the UA-cam algorithm. They might like watching drumming reactions but don't want their recommendations filled with reaction videos. Tbh that's how I operated until I subbed to this channel.
That’s freaking awesome feedback! I’m not sure how I feel about premieres... UA-cam encourages it so I’ve been trying them. Might just post without premiere and see!
I've been watching your vids for maybe a couple months now (and been subbed and liking each one since the first one I saw, btw ^_^), and I kept wondering if you'd ever seen or reacted to Chris. I believe in one of your recent vids, you'd said something about how Alex must be the pinnacle of playing for that style of music, and rightfully so, but I kept thinking, "Omg, Chis Turner. Has he heard Chris Turner?" So like two days ago, I did a search through your vids and found one reaction about him, so I was at least satisfied you knew who he was and saw his ridiculous talent. And now here he is again. Awesome. He's so disgustingly good, haha! Also, I completely appreciate the bit about getting near the end of a good take and then mind-****ing yourself. So true!

Out band had a 17-minute song (I would call us a jazzy, instrumental version of Zeppelin) and I was nailing it in one take, but about 15 minutes in came the bass solo section. We had 2 bassists and I had the first solo with a bunch of chords and these little harmonies with the guitar and accents with the drummer. I screwed that up bad. I was on a fretless and in the moment lost track of where I was and ended up about a half step off for the chords and slides. Thank god for punch ins.

I watched a video where Chris explains and the reason why he angles the cymbals away from him is cause he plays so fast and with so much force that he would be cracking cymbals way to quickly
I also played with my cymbals sitting this low and sitting high over the drumset for like 10 years now. You kinda need to have them tilted away from you to get em to crash. I don't know if its the best posture but i feel super wierd sitting like you "should" at the drumkit.
Every time I'm in studio, I try to focus on the music and the drums themselves. Just have feel the music and have fun. I reckon he has to tilt his cymbals like that because they are so low. At that height there is no way he could hit them at the correct angle otherwise.
