@@TravisMarziani So what happens if your category has only 4 or 5 sponsored items and you elect to pay THE LEAST amount possible per click? Would you just end up #5 on the sponsored list? What is the least you can opt per click? What is the highest? What is the FACTOR of difference? (IE: #1 highest ops to pay $3ppc and #2 highest ops to pay 1.50ppc with the rest under a buck... does the #1 pay FAR TOO MUCH for the #1 place among the sponsored list?)

Great concise guide to setting up PPC campaigns! One additional place to get negative keywords is from your automatic campaign advertising reports. If there are keywords that aren't relevant or are simply eating up your budget but not making sales, they may be worth adding into the negative keywords.

Question is: For my very first product, would you suggest promoting the listing? and does it charge you even if no sales are made after the clicks? Couldn't you spend your entire budget without making a single sale? I've been told this is a good way to build your reviews with a new product.

We ran into that same problem. Best we could figure out is that you have to upgrade to a professional seller account to use ppc.
How much should I bid for a keyword such as "towel"? Obviously, I dun think it is up to me, right? If it is up to me, I will just bid 1 cent and Amazon will still show my ad??

In start, we have a separate budget for PPC.
Once our keywords start performing well, we use that money to capture more keywords.
what happens when your daily limit is exceeded? And what do you mean by you can set the price per click to whatever amount you like? You did not explain what happens when you set the price per click low? I feel like the two most important points you did not explain? Thanks, Chris

Meanwhile seller B specified the cost of the click on his add 2$

Hi. Just a quick question: When you put your daily budget at $20 does this mean at the end of the month you will be charged $600 ? How does the 0.75 c bidding play its part here? If 5 people click on my ad in 1 month am I only charged $3.75 at the end of the month or $600 ? or $600 + $3.75 ? I am really confused and can't find the answer. Please help. @elettramia6380 Hi. I know its very confusing. Apparently each click costs around $0.35 approximately so if you put your budget on $20 then that means your ad will stay up for 57 people to click on (20 ÷ 0.35). After that your ad will move down the list and not show much. Only organically will come up unless you increase your budget. Also whoever bids higher will have the higher spot even though your are both paying for the promotion. Amazon is definitely not seller friendly compared to Ebay.

You can go with 3 campaigns but you must testing every other day: here are these some common mistakes you should avoid: Need to be #1
Give up too easily
Not continuously testing
Not using PPC funnel
Changing bid every other day
Throwing away keywords to quickly
Going aggressive from the first day without having reviews
Targeting too many keywords in one campaign

Who faced with an issue when u can't add any keyword and any negative keyword to any of your PPC campaigns? I am really scared if it is a bug Amazon will be solving within weeks. Other seller accounts don't have such issue.

There are always two separate listings showing up in search results, one organic and another sponsored. Your sponsored might not have ranked yet, place some competitive bids or change strategy

So every time some one sees your add you as the seller have to pay let’s say for example purposes $1 for each individual view? So if 500 people see your add you have to pay $500?
You will be charged when someone clicks on your ad, not necessarily when someone sees it. If they see the ad and click on it, then that will be charged to your account.

@@TravisMarziani I got a question man if you ok to ask, this ppc.. is this advertisement skill you teach for your own product stock? Or do you choose someone else's product and sponsor it and make a commission through your ad. Like a middleman.
