This conversation should have lasted for a longer period. Very educative indeed.

Heidegger's philosophy on technology runs very deep.
Desertification commenced when man began to represent and create things instead of exalting them.

Heidegger, the greatest existentialist. I wonder what he would make of our technological advances now, so many developments

Is that why Heidegger supported NS Germany or at least thought that the Nazis were headed in the right direction - because the NS movement was so promising in hindsight to the Germans more being a people than one 'under construction'? lol

Are there any books that touch upon the subject of the conversation? I find this to be very intriguing.

Dugin's 'Philosophy of another beginning' is a good start at Heidegger and machenshaft with techne, and the will to power are very well explained.

They used to switch the cameras on and then just cut from speaker to speaker as needed. Very little other camera work. They also recorded lengthy turns by one or other in full, without editing. Now...!?!? OMG! Edited to death, with relentless and wearing camera work, including pointless shots of knees and groins if it's on Panorama.
