Am I stupid or is the writing weird? Max just told Safi that she kissed Vinh in the other timeline, the one without her, and Safi was casually like "oh it still counts," but then she's shocked about the other timeline's existence and her being gone there? I feel like those lines were supposed to be switched or something...
It's the order of pick up choice, supposedly vinh lines was after the timeline reveals (same situation with Victoria's night out break in LiS ep 3 if you talked to Taylor first then Dana)
Safi's VA really killed it during the end scene of Chapter 4. Also I told Safi I could hurt her if I needed to. Because I told Chloe I would protect her no matter what, and when it came down to it, I chose Arcadia Bay. Max wouldn't lie anymore. I know that choice eats her alive every day.
Chapters 4 and 5 were written "on the knee" or at the last minute, that's what it looks like. But every LIS game since Don't Nod doesn't make much sense lol
Watched your playthrough on Twitch. This was a fun one to watch, even if the plot went absolutely bonkers by the end. I honestly thought with how punchy 2-3 were that they'd set up something more satisfying.
Dani is simply living out all our chaotic bisexual dreams through Max and we love it. Also: it’s so good to see some positive reactions to this game. I personally loved it and I know it’s gotten a lot of hate recently, but it’s a good game.
The romance fekt so bland to me I mean I'm down for a good romance but aside from Max and Chloe Alex and Steph it doesn't feel the same and if you kiss Vihn Amanda says the same lines which tells you how little they care about it and how little it matters
I feel like the last decision is pointless and agreeing with Safi completely goes against everything we know about Max only reason I see is Max agreeing is just keeping her enemy close and easier to strike Safi while she thinks Max is her friend
yeah yeah! i totally agree. i really thought max shooting her was gonna wrap around to like... a thing with safi's on and off god-complex thing she had going on there for a sec lmao. though i am glad it didnt actually shake out like that i guess, it'd have been messy i think. the whole "even more-more people have powers" ending IS still messy though imo
NGL I hated all the choices that Dani made but hey, everyone else playing the game would have definitely gone for the "good" choices I also wanted to make. I respect Dani for choosing chaos from start to finish
Someone may have already answered this, but Lucas told Safi that her mother was the person who orchestrated the cancellation of her book, and also assisted in covering up the fact that his book was plagiarized. Safi, in my opinion, then correctly deduced that it was ultimately about protecting the school's reputation. I think she wildly overreacted though. While I loved this game, I feel that the ending was rushed. The game needed to be a bit longer to flesh out some of the story beats that they were including.
Love your content. Your walkthroughs are amazing. You nailed Cosplaying as Max. What happened to Hunter though, if you don’t mind me asking? Missed her Chloe cosplaying with you.
it really seems like it's "Illusion" from the game's soundtrack but it's a bit hard to tell. about 55 seconds into the track it really sounds like it's it to me
@@dogboyautismI found it🙏 someone uploaded a video recently with all the snapping turtle songs in it. This song's name is Ghost with a peach skin by Mui Zyu.
Hunter's already played the game, if i remember hearing that correctly in the very first stream, she came in to see Dani's choices bc she already knew what happened
It's her first time playing not yours. It's cool that you felt like these games require that type experience (where the player needs to make all the choices themself), but pushing that belief onto other people is a tad oppressive don't you think? It doesn't seem like livestreams where viewers interact with the gameplay is for you, which is fine, you don't gotta watch them if you don't wanna like seriously, no hard feelings. There's a lot to be gained genuinely with having any game be played like this, and Life is Strange is an especially good one imo. Also my opinion, but I wanted to also say; I do love these games and think there's value in playing them blind. I think it's all valuable though, I'd hate to live in a world where playing a game any other way than you're describing is a "waste."
The way Max deadass yeanringly watched Safi walk away for 10 seconds had me rolling. like okay Max, we get it your're gay now pack it up.
2:17:00 Gotta love the point where Max chooses the secret third option, to walk off a cliff into the storm and become the cow from Twister.

Coming back from playing DE myself, and I'm still confused about EP 5. All I can say is I still am thinking about it like 3 days later haha
i was loving this game until chap 5, it felt like a bunch of build up to, nothing...
Ya i felt similar. Even end chapter 4 had some bad writing. I find it hard to believe max would just give safi the gun like that.
@@dan_kotsu I mean to be fair, she didnt want it because she was still afraid she was going to shoot Safi

It felt rushed and messy, which honestly, seems to be a theme with these games so I don't know why I was surprised 😂
The puzzle box was on Max's kitchen counter in Episode 2.

Its crazy to me how quick dani can grow her hair back!😮

The consequences are very subtle. I got Yasmin to step down.

The part in the motels is cool, diving into Max's recent past and how she's been feeling in her career.
If anyone knows the dong's title at 2:58:05 PLEASE tell me 🙏

@baloghlidi6484 awesome :D glad you found it and thanks for posting that you did ✌
@@dogboyautism Sure thing!!🤞 In case you or anyone else were wondering✌️
Haha i cant blame Lucas telling Max to go do 1 you can tell Max is loving his down fall but trying to be sweet to him 😂😂.
And Max ghosts Chloe AGAIN!

Can't wait for more Max adventures
great content
Out of curiosity, why wasn't Hunter with you on this one like she was for the rest of the series?

GG
MaX-Men.
Wow
The real question is can we save the LiS fandom from this cringy Deck Nine reboot/retcon of the original game? The answer is, probably not. 🤷♀️
How often do you get to play a Life is Strange game for the first time, and you're having chat tell you how to play? Such a waste.

Lmfao sounds like you're jealous no one would be in the chat with YOU.
