Thanks for making this so easy! I have had a sublimation printer for 3 months unused, watched this video 3 times this morning…lol…and sublimated my first pair of wooden blank earrings! Now I’m a new subscriber to your channel 🎉
Thanks for the tutorial, I typically will paint the backs first with acrylic gold or silver paint, seal it with polyacrylic spray or liquid polyurethane.
Hi, could you tell us what the purpose is of using the polycrylic? Is it too achieve a different finish or to protect the sublimation design? Thank you. 😊
The Polycrylic allows the wood to take on the design. Sublimation works best on polyester. This adds a surface that is similar to polyester to the wood.
This is the first time I have seen this technique. Do you use regular craft papers? Does the image transfer to the wood, thus eliminating mode podge step? Thanks

You did such a geat job sharing this craft. Thank you
Thank you
I enjoyed your video! Your voice is so soothing and comforting. ☺️ New subscriber! Have a great day, sis 😊
Thank you for the compliment. Welcome!
You could use a paint pen on the back, or even a stain pen. Sharpies dry out quickly when you use them on wood.
What kind of paper is it that you’re using with the pattern?
Can I use any kind of paper?
Love this! What kind of paper is that! I could do this all day. It looks addicting!
Thanks. I use Koala sublimation paper.
Bellissimi sono curiosa di sapere che materiali hai usato . Grazie mille
I just used the wooden earring blanks, sublimation paper and Polycrylic spray.

I would use the spray for great results.
Do you prefer the spray to uv resin for a top coat?
@@patsymartinez2625 I prefer the spray. And it dries really quickly.
Does it have a strong odor?
@@patsymartinez2625 I do not smell any odor.
