Thanks for the great ideas the tutorial is super easy to follow and thanks for the information ur greatest
Fyi hobby lobby has these ribbons rolls "faux" leather rolls on markdowns. Solids, prints, glitter . Go by and stock up!!! Not all but most of them. I have used mod podge on the glitter ones. I haven't tried resin however glossy accents, mod podge deminsional magic works too , just pop out bubbles. Have fun
Well, I told you before that you have inspired me to make earrings. These are so quick and easy and they look awesome! I’ve actually purchased some of the wooden blanks and earring hardware, to try some. Now, if I can just find the time!
Thank you so much for sharing the devotion, I needed the word, and the making your earrings.
You are very welcome.
Very cute. Thank you. Love your end script reading as well 😊
Yay for trying the UV resin. Sorry it didn't work out though. I have had that happen with one or two on the wood but mostly I've had success. I thought my problem was I didn't file the paper on the edge enough, but now I wonder if I did mine too long as well. I'll have to experiment more. Glad you found it to be something you can work with. Also, I made identical earrings to your leopard ones after watching your napkin earrings tutorials last fall. One idea sparks another. Thanks for the video.
I am going to keep experimenting with the UV resin because I love how fast you can finish a project.
I would try this,oh my. Thank you so much.
You can hurry the regular resin curing by using a heat mat. And for UV let them sit for a while and pass a long neck lighter over it to get rid of bubbles. You can also use 91% alcohol to spray on the resin, but not both at the same time!😊
Does the fabric have glue on? I'm trying to understand, how is this fabric sticking to this wood. Plz advise
Btw: great video 👍
I Hi there, I put mod podge on the wood piece and let it dry then when I put the fabric on and used the heat press it reactivated the mod podge allowing it to stick. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
@@mtngal3 yes it does 👍☺️
I have a theory it's separation because wood wicks so it's absorbing some of the resin so moisten your wood first lightly then resin and uv see if that fixes your issue.
Did u try regular scrapbook paper with the dry mod podge on the wood piece?
What if i don't have a heat press. What else can I use?
Hello
I know it’s been awhile, but what is the name of the cheetah print? It’s thinner then faux -
Thank you
Thank you for sharing. Question would you still sell with some bubbles in it? I struggle with trying to be perfectly bubble free, so I never put myself out there to sell, because I worry to much about what people would say🤦🏽♀️
That is the same issue I had and eventually stopped selling resin earrings. Sometimes we see the bubbles when no one else would but I just don’t feel good about selling them.
@@mtngal3 thank you. I feel better LOL ♥️
Awesome. I made these. I love your tutorials. Do you have a you tube tutorial on clay earrings?
I do have one. If you look in my videos you should see it there, let me know if you can’t find it and I will send you the link.
@@mtngal3 I couldn't find it. You're a great teacher & so easy to follow. Your results are beautiful.
@@loralocklear5237 aww thank you so much. Here is the link ua-cam.com/video/uTakbqCDtuA/v-deo.html.
Hi did u cover the leopard print ones with anything since the resin didn't work would u cover with modge podge?
I didn’t cover mine I left them as is. I am not sure how mod lodge would work on that texture.
Thank you I was wondering since it seems silky.
What could you sell these kind of earrings for..need to start
@@TerryBurkemcCaw I believe I sold this pair for $8.
Where did you buy the rolls?
What can you use if you dont have a heat press?
Hi there, you can use an iron just don’t turn on the steam. Should work fine.
Can't you just glaze it
I know this is 5 months later… i home you received the jobs.
Thank you for reading the devotional.
Thank you so much.
