- This time we got the new Hyundai i30 N in our hands. Many see the i30 N as the best you can get for your money, so we decided to compare it with our tuned VW Golf 8 GTI. Lets see which car wins the competition.

This isn't to do with a video but I cannot find a video on UA-cam. I want to buy the GTS for my ST Line Fiesta 140ps mk8. The expected gains are basically a Stage 2 if I remapped it. Can you make a video or tell me the dyno gains for it? I am interested in buying if it is better than a remap

Tbh, the Racechip development for the N seems incomplete.. the car has so much more to give now with the new turbo and it’s running like the old N.. + why does the final run have the VW start at 70km~ and the N at 92~ before pulling ??
Time starts at 100km/h, exact speed is measured via GPS (Draggy)
Actually you can start at 30km/h, time will still start to count at 100km/h in any case.
MK8 GTI is our own show car, no reason for us to make it faster/slower

Both great everyday cars the Golf GTI is great for comfort while the i30N is great for performance.
When you did the 100-200 test, will the curve but not straight route affect the result negatively?
i think its all a lie racechip claims that youll get 50hp on the i30n but ive seen some dyno results and its only showing 18hp gains
@@Napster2k12 yes and somehow 2.5 seconds faster from 100-200 with 20hp more. its a fucking joke. liars.

Hey guys is not right compare hatchback vs sedan is not same category put i30n hatchback and not sedan guys u done amazing video respect bravo but we saw many race golf gt vs i30n golf lose we saw Elantra n beat golf r and golf compare vs n performance of best team racing track experience no point see because n performance best stability flat sound many says the best for n performance no negative nothing is top for that level.

Yes, it has around 295-305 HP on different dynos so much more than specified.

GTI competes with the N and GTI clubsport competes with i30N and we already know how that would turn out…

@@RiXtn. normal N competes with GTI and i30N competes with Clubsport.
@@neekjp I think they took the normal GTI for comparison because of the price tag. I love the mk8 as clubsport version but its way to expensive you must admit 😉
@@RiXtn. prices are more because the Golf is more refined and better equipped. Hyundai brand has always been cheaper than VW.

The GTI responds much better than the i30 with the Race Chip. More gains.
