I have got a gpon device HUAWEI ONT, what could be issue if I connect to a epon OLT on the other end as gpon and epon both uses same wavelength / range also both can understand ethernet. If they cannot communicate each other, is there any other converter we may need to make this work?

I would like to know that .... with 1 PON we want to split the power with 1*4 and from 1*4 out we will take one 16 power from the 16 power output how much 1*2 splitter we can use ???? This is the one biggest doubt I have & so if I use some 7 1*2 splitter from 16 output it will create some problem ah ?????

What is EXPON ? For a new customer, I do not think if would make much of a difference if one opts for new connections from WishNet Broadband. If I procure the EPON gadget by myself for my domestic connection I presume 300 GB would suffice for 4- 5 mobiles, 2 Desktop and 1 Smart TV. Please advise.
