Nice topic.. I have got a gpon device HUAWEI ONT, what could be issue if I connect to a epon OLT on the other end at ISP side. As gpon and epon are both uses same wavelength / range, also both can understand ethernet. why they cannot communicate each other, is there any other converter we should use in between (GPON OLT and a GPON ONT) to make this work?
