Even though I don't have any high school graduates to buy for, I do enjoy your gift guides. Some of these things would be great for someone moving into their first apartment as well. I definitely need to get those lanterns! I had them in my mind from the last time you showed them and never ordered. I feel those are a must for anyone!
Marnie don’t forget the garment bag you recommended in one of your favorite travel items videos!!!! I’m not in college anymore and I don’t have to worry about this for my own children yet but I enjoy these videos….a lot of these items are good to have in general around the house or for travel!!!
This was really helpful. We have several young people in our family that are headed off to college in the Fall. These are all things they would actually use! The tech pack is a great idea and is the direction our family will take, likely to be paired with a cozy throw and a Yeti.
Your high school gift idea video is always so helpful. I purchased IKEA bags years ago when you recommended them and have used them time and time again moving kids to and from school!!
SOOOOO glad I found your video! My granddaughter just left visiting me, as a stop over on her Spring college tour. I can get started on this list now as, graduation is in May.
Great video. I bought the ikea bags 2 years ago because of of your and they are the best for so many things . They have different colors too. I have had the tile for 3 years on my sneaky little cat , best thing ever but would now go for the apple ones . The 40 oz tumblers by reduce at Costco are I think under $25 for 2. I too believe in getting practical gifts that they will actually use frequently.
I have watched this since you started doing it and this year I have a graduating senior! This is so helpful! Thank you! Also, I cry randomly that my senior is going to college. Super excited for him, and he is ready, but I'm also sad sometimes. I know you've talked about this as well.
Good morning! Great video and ideas! I have my son’s HS graduation next week. My daughter is a junior @ FSU and I got the IKEA bags for her, huge hit! My son needs all the organizing help so many of these would be great. Thank you!! 👍🏼😊
My son came home last weekend for his sister”s college graduation. He lives in Houston and was wearing his black cowboy hat, gator leather cowboy boots and carrying his wife’s pink and white striped carry-on tote! I’m getting him that tote.
I have my first grandchild graduating this Friday! I guess they don’t know they are supposed to stay small children forever. Great ideas and cash is the request I love IKEA bags Heck I may buy some of the items just for me. Thanks
No. Clothes get wrinkled in a duffel bag. Even if you bring a travel steamer, you will have a lot of work ahead of you to make wedding attire presentable.
Based on the first impression, I chose the compass necklace for my daughter, because the compass necklace points the direction for her to explore the future world.
Some other good graduation gifts for the student heading off to college: 1) an individual Keurig so the student can make coffee, hot tea, cocoa, and hot soup without having to get dressed to go to the common kitchen area; 2) a Soda Sense which with two pushes of a lever will turn plain tap water into sparkling water (I add a squeeze of lime or lemon juice); 3) a hard plastic, wheeled laundry basket with a collapsible handle. This will allow the student to move a large quantity of clothes and laundry detergent to and from the dorm laundry without dropping anything. It is also useful for transporting books from the bookstore at the start of the semester. 4) a compact, 3-in-1 charger for the nightstand. The iPhone is charged in a standing up position and any Apple Watch and Apple AirPods are charged on the reverse side. The phone is always charged and it's always easy to find.
Don’t buy the Stanley lol it’s starting to be a “mark of the beast” according to several teens I’ve talked to lol. It has become a meme and too main stream and I’ve been threatened to never buy that for my teens or their friends hahah
Marnie, you always have the best suggestions! Those blue IKEA bags are amazing making move in / move out so much easier!

This was a great video my son graduates this year and I hadn't thought of a lot of these items. Thank you!

You got this! Once he's actually gone you'll be fine. It's the anticipation that hurts!

Marine fantastic recommendations for kids starting out Thank you so much. Always love all your thoughtful and so important ideas. 😁
Great suggestions! I just ordered the lantern, and there was a coupon for half off! Needless to say I'm ordering more! Thank you Marnie.
This sweet compass necklace makes a thoughtful graduation gift for her
These recs are always so fun. I know Lily Claire always asks for money or amazin gift card 😂
Marnie how do you keep your lipstick on. I have used this and it wears off in like a half hour. Tell me your secret. Very informative video ty.
I love the bags for myself. Keep it in the car and place all the store bags in it so I only have to make one trip into the house when I return.
Survial and first aid kit

Great list, I'm going with a laundry backpack or all-in-one charger.
Good choice!
I had to put my daughter on an uber allowance after that first month of freshman year!
I have my first grandchild graduating this Friday! I guess they don’t know they are supposed to stay small children forever. Great ideas and cash is the request

Heck I may buy some of the items just for me. Thanks
Thank you thank you thank you! 🙏🏼
This is wonderful!
Traveling for a wedding, would you suggest the duffel bag to carry fancy dresses and suits?
No. Clothes get wrinkled in a duffel bag. Even if you bring a travel steamer, you will have a lot of work ahead of you to make wedding attire presentable.
Air tags are out of stock 🫤
Thanks for the ideas

Uber gift cards are a good idea!!!
