- Reports are out that Malone and Booth are not seeing eye to eye on the direction of the team. Are these reports real? Does this mean anything for the upcoming season?

To be fair- Jamal has had all star level seasons. Colorado bball isn’t conducive to all star appearances.

I said this b4, I do questions malones coaching on the floor sometimes, but despite that 1 thing I know & love about coach is you can tell how much he cares & wants the best for this team & nikolas personal success, he knows & truly understands Jokic greatness probably more then any1 & doesn’t wanna let him down, by having his prime being wasted

Swipa is totally right. The key question is whether Malone will rest the starters and get them healthy and rested to the playoffs. If they do, it shouldn't matter what their seeding is. NBA history provides ZERO examples of winning championships with a bunch of late 1st second round draft picks. Malone needs veterans who are ready to win now. And their bench doesn't have it.
27:55 go back & watch russ while he’s been with the clippers especially coming off the bench. I promise russ can fit into that Bruce brown role perfectly. & him & pwat both being defensive playmakers could really open up fast break opportunities for the 2nd unit
They may be good defenders but protecting the rim is gonna be either Saric, Zeke, or DJ. I can't get behind the idea our 2nd unit is gonna be a defensive monster that gets out in transition. Teams are gonna finish over our back up centers and our bench is gonna be stuck running half court sets with no lob threat.
He even barely fitted with Lakers, Wizards, and Clippers. 😂😂 Brodie is him but atp of his career he is a 2nd tier role player at best. You really try to compare Bruce Brown who is like what, 26 yrs old? to Westbrook who is already out of his prime 😂😂

Malone shouldn’t be developing young players it’s not the time Malone spent his first 6 years in Denver developing young players & he still has 2 develop mpj 🤦🏾♂️😂& treat him like a kid as he still has many bad rookie habits at age 25, I understand at anytime for a young team or even if jokic was 35 I would completely understand him going that route instead of going all out, but not in the middle of his prime who knows when jokic is gunna slow down or have a injury

If we didn't drastically overpay MPJ which caused Murray to by comparison to deserve a much bigger deal because he is clearly better than MPJ. So bad asset allocation with a salary cap, which is why I said we had a timer on winning a title before MPJ sank us. Im so sorry you got the max deal you fought for Michael, I do agree no one should pay you that much and I also find it distracting you wasted Jokics prime with your elementary school education and podcast where you made up new medical facts during a pandemic which should have been the sign not to resign you.
The other is Malone and the Nuggets don't develop young guys unless they absolutely have to, and even then Braun and Watson were benched last year when they made any mistakes after Nnaji was wrongly made the scapegoat again early in the season showing maybe Nnaji wasn't the problem he is just a little rusty because he isnt allowed to play due to fans ignorantly low opinion of him.
Imo the problem with the nuggets is that jokic is a unicorn. He's amazing. But we don't have a back up center that can provide any continuity. When he sits we have to completely change our game. We go from a center who touches it every play and orchestrates the whole offense, to a series of undersized centers that don't touch the ball, don't have lob threats, and don't have the mental toughness to keep everyone on track. The bench is out there playing small ball which isn't our identity. They would need to be really mature to execute a completely different style that probably isn't talked about in practice. The best we looked last year was when DJ turned back the clock and was successfully handling DHOs and providing a lob threat for RJ. None of our young guys are truly developing because they're playing a chaotic brand of ball and 4v5 on top of that. Wtf Strather and Pwat gonna do with Saric as the center? We lose every game in the 10 minutes jokic isn't on the floor.

Malone screwed up badly the 2nd round and made himself the face of a losing series by extravagant and self serving takes. That was fireable offense no pun intended and I am usually annoyed by lax coach firing. Now Nuggets will carry this stigma until he is gone Nuggets have lost two game 7's on home floor after leading double digits. That is incredible and to have the same coach after that is absurd.

Too optimistic. Nuggets will be floating around 4th~6th seed all through the season. Hoping they could at least get pass the 1st round. Jokic is still great but he cannot carry the team in the playoffs alone.

Booth is as good as a GM as he was a player, a bit worse.. he dismantled roster that Tim Connelly put together, thats the only thing hes done - day 1 he said hes gonna be doing that ( developing ), year 1 he got rid of green and brown, then year 2 he got rid of KCP. He didnt bring in anyone for 2 years. This thing is done and over. next year he might trade murray cause he didnt extend him and Malone will be gone.. you shouldnt let inmate run asylum

People, give me some optimism, yes, the KCP left, the great KCP, but the core remained, which Cristijan Braun, and also Russell Westerbruk, whom I believe will take over the role of life and be the ace up the sleeve, but let's not rush, I believe that we in the first 4 teams in the league and we will have to take the title, the season is long, there will be some additions or not, I don't know, but I believe in young guys, and they are all young, no one has 30 of them, not counting R.W and D.J. , a young and experienced team, with the help of those who improved in the off-season, and everyone improved, from Nikola to C.B. it will be a very interesting season and I believe in Nikola and the team!

Ya we didn't develop any youth the past few years so we had no depth. Braun and Watson were both benched in the playoffs, when they should have been given more time on ball in the regular season to work through some things. And people rag on Zeke but I can think of 2 games everyone piled on Zeke, but he actually wasn't responsible for any turnovers in those 2 games so much as Watson and Braun made rookie mistakes and Zeke is not Jokic at passing so their margin of error was too high.
