- Hi Everyone! Hope you liked the video.
I should point out that it doesn't have the purpose of trying to copy-cat exactly how they're playing or even precisely the sounds that they recorded. Even so, I believe some guitar timbres came quite close to the original.
Bruno Romiti: Guitar, Bass, Mix
Luiz Henrique Lima: Video Editor
Gear:
Guitars: Squier Strat Burgundy Mist and Epiphone Riviera P93.
Bass: Rickenbacker 4003 (Luthier-made)
All Guitars were played through a Marshall Origin 20 Valve Head and recorded through a Shure Sm57 and a sE Electronics X1-A.
Some of the pedals used for the overdrive sounds were the MXR Bass Compressor + Boss OD3.
The sound of the bass comes from the Line out of the Roland 60XL Cube Bass Amp.
Song Tracklist:
00:00 A-Punk
00:48 Harmony Hall
1:07 Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa

Nothing from their 2013 album??? Interesting.🤔
hi! it's funny you say this, 'cause I spent some time trying to find a strong guitar riff that was kind of song-defining as some other tunes off of their catalogue, like this life or cape cod. And it ended being hard to find a worthy candidate, for I think MVOTC ends up being an album mostly built around chord progressions and piano parts, rather than leading guitar riffs. But I'll say Diane Young was the closest contender. It's funny 'cause my fav vamp week song is in this album, hannah hunt. Anyway, Thanks for watching! Hope you liked it :)
