This is in continuation to the question id raised on having completed my MDS in 1993, and later having the 27 years of teaching experience.
How are the chances of me doing my MPH in US?
Id heard that gap between the gap between the time that we had completed our MDS and joining a course in the US musn't b more than 5 years. Is this true? Bcos my resume states that I had been working for 27 yrs so the gap is more than 25 yrs.
No such rule I have of in MPH universities. Check their website. But, again getting into MPH is one thing job after that is another.
Hello, can you do a video on how we can practice in usa after completing the ndeb equivalency process? Are there any ways we can practice in USA after getting done with the Canadian ndeb exams?
To practice in USA you have to clear the inbde exam then do DDS or masters.
As far as I am aware, after completing equivalency process in Canada you can not work in USA.
But you can give the first exam of ndeb get into DDS in Canada. That DDS degree is recognised in some US states. Check official rules before deciding..
@kaizendental actually I have completed the ndeb equivalency process already, but my family is moving to US, I want to know what options I have at this time over there. Is there a course I can do for eg: masters or something which will make me eligible to practice as a dentist there without having to go through it all again from scratch? Check the video 🙂.. in MPH has variations.. most variations in most colleges is non stem.. only few colleges it is stem..

You can do courses online. But, tough to get job opportunities with it as no networking happens. Plus employers are not sure whether you have enough exposure to the field or not.

With you experience will be easy to get into the university. But, jobs which give you work visa is becoming tough to get for MPH degree holders. They prefer those who have PR or citizenship there.

Hi yeh depend karta hai apko kya karna hai. Agar aap ache se kar sakte ho toh hi koi bhi field main aghe badoge. Dono fields ache hai. Jisne abhi clear kiya hai unhe dund kar pucho.

Yes GPA matters, residency not much. Loan you won't get is US unless you are a US citizen or PR. You can try for a loan in India.

No. Not really good but yes basic understanding required.

Usually a score of above 3.0 is good. You will have to improve other aspects of your resume to get into the university of your choice.

Job opportunities are less and bit difficult to get after mph and mha, as a dentist jobs are a surety..
I'm doing bachelor in public health in Nepal and I want to apply for MPH...there has always been rumor that its difficult to find job for foreign students..I want to know income and possibilities for finding jobs in USA for students like us.
Not easy. Networking during the course essential plus find one with longer OPT. Can try courses related to biostatistics which currently have more job openings but it might vary. Check job opportunities then decide..

Yes, in most universities in India you can do MPH after BSc. Not aware of other countries.
