If you have any specific questions about this topic, you may contact Ketaki or me for the same. Good Luck with your American dream 🙂
hello maam this was the great video that i had ever watched since i started my search regarding healthcare i have few questions like i wanted to know the slight difference between healthcare and hospital administration that you had mentioned im stuck in between them what to take and one more is what is the stay back period for these courses that would be helpful if u clarify this
Hey Prathyusha Devareddy, One of the main differences between the two degrees is that with an MPH, students learn to look at the social context of health-including social determinants of health, care inequities, and cultural competency in healthcare-while an MHA student learns how to manage the business aspects of healthcare. Stay back periods can be course dependent. Mostly if it is a 2yrs STEM course with certain specific majors then you get a 24 month stay back period.
I am glad it was helpful. I try to answer most of the questions on the channel in the comments. You may find a lot of your answers there. If you have any other specific questions which are unknown to me, please send them here or email and I will try and get the answers for you from Ketaki 🙂 Good luck @artmocha9901
@@DrSamthedentisthomie Thanks for the reply drsam. I am interested in applying to UC Berkeley MPH program as it is in budget but it’s 1 yr course n is not in the CAHME list. I wanted a little insight on this. Thanks in advance.
@artmocha I tried to find out about the Berkeley program from a couple of my friends but unfortunately both didn't know much about it. You might have to go on LinkedIn and ask someone who has done it from Berkeley. Good luck
Can one apply to these courses, while doing internship (mbbs) where we haven’t yet got the completion certificate ? Or should we go about applying after everything? Can you also throw light on the current STEM OPT programs, tips on finding jobs after graduation… thanks!!
@arpitsh1111 , A completion certificate comes after internship but the transcripts for the earlier years can be obtained before. For ECE evaluations transcripts are needed and if applying to clinical courses then a completion certificate too. For non clinical may apply before completion and mention awaiting completion date.
Really helpful video ma'am, I have a question.... as mentioned in the video.... ranking of course is important than ranking of University. How to find the course rankings
@Kiran Virdi07 some MPH/MHA programs have certain subjects which make them come under STEM OPT. You have to confirm those with the school you apply to. Either acquire a job/H1B sponsor during or by the end of OPT or take another study program or return back.
Hi mam, thank you for this wonderful video. Can u suggest me the best universities right now for mha and the universities which offer internship right from the start.. It will help me a lot mam
Hey Monika, this link might help you www.usnews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-health-schools/healthcare-management-rankings. For internships please check the websites of individual universities of interest to you.
@Pallavi Karigowda , You need a sponsor for working! If a private practice owner is able to sponsor you then yes if they are ok filing insurances in the owners name. Ownership needs you to be GC holder or citizen for the huge loan. But all insurance companies need DDS or DMD credentials to be accepted. So it might be hard to file insurance in your name as an owner.

The compensation difference does absolutely exist and is comparable to the student loans and stress as well. Every job will have different types and amounts of stress. Hey Anuj, you can apply for MHA courses in US. It is the same process for MBBS grads as well. Please start studying for GRE and get your ECEs done. All the details shared in the video :)
Which college according to you is best for mha
As Ketaki said, there are various choices based on the applicants interests. So identify the subjects or areas in MHA that interest you and then search accordingly to identify the best program for yourself.
